Funny

The life of a young woman in Hollywood - how could that be interesting to the rest of the world? Well it isn't, but the story is funny and as time killer between late night flights it works. Of course she meets with very unsavory people (this is Hollywood, rememeber), but there is a sweet ending (not very likely to happen in real life, though). You can picture this story as a typical Hollywood film comedy starring Drew Barrymore (in fact, that might have been the reason for its coming into existence).

Loving Laurel Lefkow

The book was the typical chick-lit fodder that you know and hope that it will be. I throughly enjoy this type of bubble-gum reading but I LOVE the narrator and her reading style!

entertaining life of a secretary

Of course you won't find truth and reality in this book - it's chick-lit! Yet it's a successful representative of this genre. I can recommend it.

Simply great. An easy, lovely read.

I bought this book because for 2 reason: Laurel Lefkow is the narrator, and is fantastic to listen to, and because I loved The Devil Wears Prada (book not movie).
However, I started to get horribly worried, as I listened to the first hour, that this was just another DWP book, simply based around showbiz rather than fashion. Thankfully I didn't give up and listened on.
It's brilliant, easy to listen too, you get involved in the characters and get happy when they do, and pissed off when they do, it's great.
I would recommend it, and can only hope the sequel is just as good as that?s my next listen!!

This is an enjoyable audiobook, very entertaining and extremely funny. It reminds me a bit of 'The devil wears Prada'.
