Publisher's summary

Lance Packet just got a contract to shoot an erotic BDSM deck of cards; the only problem is finding models. So far everyone he's interviewed thinks he's looking for sex for hire. Then in walk three perfect examples of men: Tide and his friends, Tyrone and Bran.

Tide Germaine is a model and a dom. He and his best friend Tyrone opened The Iron Eagle Gym as a place for gay men in the lifestyle to work out, do scenes, and congregate with like-minded men. The modeling is just another job for Tide, but it soon turns into a grand seduction as Tide falls for the shy, self-conscious photographer. The problem is Lance doesn't believe he's in Tide's league, and he's not at all sure about the dom and sub thing.

It's not going to be easy, but Tide's going to have to convince Lance he belongs at Tide's side as both lover and sub.

Sweet and sexy!

I was all smiles while reading this book. So much fun. the narrator's voice was a little stunted at times, but his Voice for Tide was very sexy. As far as plot goes, there isn't really any. However, it's such a fun ride, I didn't even notice until I was done. The two main characters and how they banter and connect with each other, is such a joy to read. Lance never stood a chance once Tide decided that Lance would be his boy. This is definitely one of my all time audio books, and I plan on listening to it many more times.

GREAT story, absolutely HORRIBLE narration

DNF. The narration was horrible, stilted . Odd because he's amazing in other audiobooks I have.

Good but...

I liked the story but I am not a fan of this narrator. Some of the voices didn't fit the characters. But other than that I liked the book.

Horrible narration

I THINK the book is decent, but Jeff Gelder does a brilliant job of slaughtering it. He stops and starts, creating an uncomfortable flow that hinders both understanding and enjoyment. Really disappointed!

Presentation is childish

I’ve listened to many books on Audible and this so far is the worst. Mostly for the readers performance. They voices of the characters are one butch the rest childish in nature. The voices sound like they were all read as each voice then spliced into the correct location. Where you would expect emotion there is non just read text in a voice. The story is ok but for a Dom/sub book it’s a bit basic. Maybe the remaining books are better in content but if the reader is the same I’ll likely not buy them.
