Thankful for LaHaye and Jenkins

The difference in narration styles between Muller and Ferrone did not bother me as much as it apparently did some others according to reviews I’ve read. Considering his origin according to this story, why shouldn’t Carpathia sound like Dracula? He’s a blood sucking creep. Why shouldn’t Fortunato sound like one of the “hammers” from The Godfather? He enjoys violence inflicted on innocents, at the behest of his beloved leader. Close your eyes and fall into the story. Let yourself be ministered to or evangelized, depending on which side of that line you fall on. Fell in love with this series when I read it years ago. Even more so now, listening and imagining all over again. Praise God for these two minister/storytellers. I’ve heard the same the truths they preach at Bible studies at my own church. Thank You, Jesus, for these men, their creativity, and mission. May LaHaye Rest In Peace. I am like Albie. When I get to Heaven, after seeing You Lord, Tim LaHaye is one of the first people I’d like to meet. His and Mr. Jenkins’ work has truly blessed my soul......

great book terrible narration.

The book is as good as the rest in the series so far. It was also hard to get through because of the narration. My ears kind of got used to it near the halfway mark, but it was so hard to focus on the story that I feel I missed half of the book. His style is too fast, and he doesn't pause between characters so it gets hard to keep track of who is speaking, and he seems to exhale at the end of sentences.

Powerfully done- Hats Off to Mullers Performance

If you could sum up The Mark in three words, what would they be?

1) Exciting
2) Nailbiting
3) Inspirational

Who was your favorite character and why?

David Haasiid
The authorative role he had to take on, while being the 'Mole' in the enemies lair.
And yet he was a total genius with computer equipment. Wow!

Have you listened to any of Frank Muller’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, he did one or two other Left Behind audio books.
He was very good in these also.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, I wanted to savor it over a period of at least a week.

Any additional comments?

When I couldn't find this book to rent from a library, Audible.com was there to pull me through. And it did not cost me my head either. lol

Highly recommended

I absolutely love these books however when they switched the narrator it really through me off as I got used to the other narrator for the first several books and you get used to his voice and how he changes it for each person. Then this guy starts narrating which changed the voices and makes it hard to follow. Plus he reads to fast.

New reader grows on you

I struggled initially with the reader—eventually I set speed to 0.8 and it became much better. He does well with accents, so once slowed down I was able to follow much better—I prefer longer reads anyway! I don’t like when Audible (or any company) changed narrators, but only one or two of the names were suddenly different.

The book continues the great narrative bringing details to our studies from the Bible, and the 20 year age of this book now is not a detriment—it reads as well now as it did then. If it were revised, I wonder how the new world order’s plans would be drawn in.

There are many of us praying for the spiritual pouring out and the coming rapture as world events continue to spin out of most good folks’ expectations. Please do read this book—this entire series is a brilliant work of Bible scholar Christians and authors, and it brings the Bible’s story of the coming end times to life.

Bring back the narrator

The new narrator really detracts from this book. We have enjoyed this whole series until now. Characters suddenly have very strong accents also!

Read this years ago.

Still a great listen. Well performed. Still don’t like the main character. Lol. Or his lackey.
