Publisher's summary

The Indian and Jessie Learn From Each Other About God Along The Oregon Trail, is a wonderful story about love and learning and understanding in a wagon train journey to the west, along the Oregon Trail. When Jessie, a woman traveling west to an already established mission, finds a wounded Native American man she, despite much opposition, decides to nurse him back to health because she knows it's what God wants. Even despite hatred amongst some members of the train for the young man, she triumphs and is able to get him back on his feet, even though another attack almost kills him again. Knowing that his home is very close to the mission gives her hope for the future, because she has found herself with much admiration and love for the young man building inside of her. Together, they both realize that they may not know what the future will bring, but that are willing to try to face it hand in hand.

This 8,100 word novelette contains powerful Christian influences, love, family and other related themes meant to make you smile!

Enjoyable

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This was a great book and enjoyable to listen to. It held my attention and the narrator did an excellent job. I could almost see the characters and would recommend this short story. I would like for this story to continue.

One of the most memorable moments was when Jesse learned something of God from the Indian, that God cares for all things that breathe. Life - God created it all and it could all be respected.
