WONDERFUL BOOK!

I am a LOVER of history fiction novels of this time period, but of late have stop reading them because they are often cookie cutter and just "drag" you along for a ride you KNOW where it is going to end up. The only reason I gave this a change is the awards that it received. I have to admit I do not know what RITA is, but plan to look up, so that I might find other novels of this magnitude.

This is BY FAR the best history fiction novel I have read in recent history (no pun intended). It was well written. It was well narrated. Its plot was wonderful. The characters are so well developed, I feel like I know them on a personal basis. The only thing it was lacking was ... NOTHING!

Great Story

This one delivered not only the hot romance I wanted to lose myself in, it was an amusing story that kept me totally engaged.

Overall entertaining but story is a bit shallow.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

It had a good premise but the heroine is such a push over it becomes annoying. She is so insecure and lets her sister walk all over her even though she knows she is being deceived. It was worth one read...maybe if it was free or less than $5. Not worh a credit though.

Good book, bad narrator

This book could have been so much better had the narrator been better. She used such weird voices and it seemed she changed her own voice as the reader. I would recommend you read this book and not listen to it. Sorry Bianca it was bad.

Pleasently Suprised!

What made the experience of listening to The Husband Trap the most enjoyable?

I purchased this in the $4.95 sale. Having not read any of Tracy Ann Warren books before I didn't know what to expect. When it started I wasn't sure I was going to like it but it didn't take me long to fall in love with it. I couldn't put it down. Ms. Warren weaves such a wonderful tale and Bianca Amato read it so perfectly. I can't wait to purchase the rest of this trilogy and see what happens! She is now one of my favorite authors!

Escape to a different era

This isn't my normal genre, but once in awhile I like a good historical romance! While predictable, this was a good story with an interesting premise. I listened to it on audio, and the narration was good.

Enjoyable but predictable

Just was I expected... An period romance. Quick listen that I do not regret but doubt I will repeat anytime soon.

Better than expected

I like a book that will keep me captivated, make me smile or laugh, makes me angry and makes me cry...This one did all that.
Liked Violet and Kit's friendship. Hated Janet(mad twin) and did love how Adrian works out in the end.

Talk about wife swapping…

Interesting twist on the twins switch motif. Considering that ladies and gentlemen of the ton normally didn’t hang out with each other alone pff et for to the wedding, it’s not too difficult to apply the suspension of disbelief,. Overall, it was a good story. If you enjoy the Regency romances where the couple are married first then fall for each other, this is a good choice.
