But an old custom and a deep-rooted sense of routine keeps her locked in an unending cycle, until she can figure out the key to breaking her pattern.

Very entertaining and creepy book of short stories

This is a wonderful book full of mostly exceptional short stories. Although most of the stories in this book were wonderful such as the room, Monday, and baby pink lipstick there were a few Misses The narrator spoke with a monotone voice so if you were not paying close attention the stories ran together. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a nice creepy read. I don't believe you will be disappointed. I received this book at no cost from the writer and publisher or narrator for a honest review

These would make an awesome TV series

These short stories are some very wild and unusual horror themes. I think they would make a great TV series for something like the CW channel as a funky Twlight Zone -y type show.

I really like the fact that in the forward the author explains the fact that these are short stories and they are not intended to be long novels. The author is right. These are short, sweet and totally unnerving tales. I especially like the one about the police officer and the town that has a dancing disease that kills. Short, sweet and Creepy. This was my kind of book. I LOVED it.

The narrator is very good. He has a great way of telling stories and makes the characters pop.

Some good stories nice twists enjoyable listen

This book was a good collection of short stories with good twists in them. was an enjoyable listen. I especially liked the hyde story and the writers story. However I give it a four because none were particularly very scary just interesting. Good Short Listens

I have to admit I listen mostly to novels (mostly horror) but listen to short stories when I can only listen to for short periods. I thought some of the stories were very good while others ok. I have several of C.
