Some interesting stories, but I found the Dramatizations distracting. I love Louis L'Amour westerns, but prefer them without sound effects.
"A Trail To The West" begins with a narration by Louis L'Amour about his research and personal experiences...then goes into the story about a girls kidnapping.
The last story, "Bowdrie Follows A Cold Trail" was my favorite of the 6 stories.

I truly enjoyed this book. The dramatization was excellent and the bonus discussion by Louis L'Amour make this a worthwhile addition to your audiobook library.

I very much like the Bowdrie stories. This collection has many of the best tales and is worth listening to more than once. I only wish I could get Volume 2 if there is one.

It was nice to be able to listen to Louis L’Amour’s Collected Bowdrie Dramatizations. I had read the print versions I “Bowdrie” and “Bowdrie’s Law” when I was a young girl. It’s nice to have this collection and I recommend this to all fans of the Western genre.

Great story telling. Having a full cast and sound effects made it extra fun to listen to!
A simple fun telling of the Bowdrie short story collection. Listened to it easily as I drove and finished it within the week.
Very well done dramatized western stories, drop shelf rye whiskey, in western terms. Looking forward to volume two of the exploits of Chic Bodery.
Totally loved it. Wished that it lasted longer. All of the characters were excellent.
We love these stories. Louis L'Amour does such a good job of simulating Western life stories using his extensive research and creative writing.
Louis L'amour dramatisations are so enjoyable to listen to. I have read his books and now listening to audio read, relaxing stories.
