Narrator is fabulous!

The book is awesome, but with Narrator is is that much more amazing. It’s like you are there in the story.

Story is dull

This book is very well written but the storyline lacks interest. Every character is flawless and of strong faith. Real people have flaws even when of godly character. There are three different couples in three different situations -all connected but sometimes confusing. The historical information was the most interesting part for me but, even it was weak. The reader was excellent.

Another great Janette Oke

Wonderful story weaving the lives of 2 families together. Has more characters than some of her books, and this makes for more suspense. Janette Oke is probably my favorite author! I highly recommend this book to anyone!

Put together oddly...

I love the historical setting and truth of the times weaved into this story. The narration was excellent. Overall I rated it a a 3 though because I had such difficulty getting into the story and I never did find out what happened to Ann's baby John. Maybe that is in the next book? I stop and start a lot during my day and when trying to get back into the book it was difficult because I wouldn't know at first if it was Nicole or Ann that the narrator was discussing. There were many characters discussed and not enough background given regarding them. I didn't feel like I knew much about the characters at all until the end of the book. I might try another of her books because of the excellent narration, historical background and because the book was not trashy like some of the historical romance novels.

A bit to perfect to be believable.

I really enjoyed this series..... until the last 2 books. I felt they were dragging things out to long and especially the last book had Miracles happening so much and so perfect that it was a bit unbelievable. lol I also didn't like how you never heard much about Louise until you were at the end of the book.
