great story
I listened to this on audible and the voice is perfect. this author has me thinking of Margaret beaufort in a new way. I am disappointed the 3rd book isn't in audible but I got it in kindle unlimited. I highly recommended this!

Great storyline and book
I loved listening to the book. The story was well written; however, the performance (narration) was lacking in parts. For instance I can hear pages turning periodically. That in itself is distracting.

Not as good as the first in the series
The narrator sounds like an older woman and is not a good choice in my opinion. Margaret Beaufort was in her teens and twenties during the period that this book covers, but the narrator sounds like she’s in her sixties at least. She doesn’t do a bad job, but she would be better for a character that’s way older.
