best in the audio series

this is my favorite in this audiobook. waiting eagerly for Westlands. awesome narration by Hollie Jackson as always.

The Sora’s do it again.

The third installment in this series does not disappoint it is rare that the series gets better as it progresses. Lanie and Celeste are such well rounded characters, fun, loving, perfectly imperfect. The story is fast paced and fun. I love all the moments of humor and quirky escapades. Hollie is the voice of the people. Hollie’s voice talent, the superb writing of Erik, combined with the work of the super edity person creates a great story that I will listen to over and over.

The evolution of Laney

Laney, Celeste and the whole crew are back with a few little additions, including a big bundle of joy. We get to watch as Laney at first acclimates and then evolves into her role as a gypsy, a wielder of magic and now a mom. The love between the main characters serves as a sharp juxtaposition to the evil they face, and this book has a far fiercer, angrier evil then we've seen before. Spiced with just the right amount of humor (will Celeste and Laney EVER get to be alone?!!) this is a lovely third course in what promises to be a lovely multiple course adventure.

This book had an interesting plot, and the narrator was much improved from the last book. Now, I am on to the next book!

Enjoyable Positive Story

It’s great to hear a solid storyline with strong female leads & lesbian family relationships. Heroism, friendships, family, action, love, and benevolence included. Full of positivity!

My girlfriend got me hooked

I absolutely loved the book. The introduction of the family was amazing, they are a perfect little fit!! Misty is definitely everything and more, and exactly what they were missing. Having a daughter enhanced both Celeste and Laney to give a greater insight of who they are!! With all the family and love displayed, amazing job making sure to keep plenty of action in the story!! Once you're into the book, you're really sucked in!! They are the definition of a family of badasses!!

Great narration. Fun adventurous story.

The narrator does a great job changing her vioce and accent for characters.
The story line is good. It's great listening to a book with lesbian characters without it being a romance.
I will enjoying future book releases in this series.

tone down the puppy love, and the gushing

Great concept, and magic system. He has a good story going but the constant puppy love and internal dialogue of "How hot my love is" gets pretty old quick

Frustrating yet wonderful

I find it very frustrating that such a wonderful story had to be full of fluff! The reader does not want or need the information from books one and two repeated so many times that it distracts from the story. I want to find out what happens to these strong female characters. However, I am hesitant to purchase the next story that may painfully repeat books one, two and three just to add an extra hour or two of listening time.
