Publisher's summary

David Joseph has established himself as one of the most unique military fiction writers of our time. Wielding all the power and magic of a master storyteller, Joseph delivers in Spooky Military Tales the stories the military does not want you to know. He introduces the origins behind the haunted KC-135 tanker that still flies, the aircraft that flew the remains to the US from Jonestown, the strange sightings at Arlington National Cemetery, and connects the unexplained incidents in the corrosion hangar at Atsugi Naval Base, Japan. A magnificent, eerie, and compelling collection of spooky military stories.

Makes you wander?

Would you listen to Spooky Military Tales again? Why?

Yes, because as strange as it sounds, all the stories have verifiable witnesses.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Bill Fox in Spook 50. He was just a good guy that thought he finally beat Spook 50 and was going to retire.

What does Michael J. McCue bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The New York accent and some added spice to Ghost of Guyana.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The beginning of Ghost of Guyana was just too real. I could picture the choppers going into the jungle.

Any additional comments?

Love to see a Spooky Military Tales 2.
