Publisher's summary

Jeret hasn't looked back since running away from life as a crown prince and joining the Crux Ansata's crew, but when the Ansata returns to his home system, he finds his father ill and a traitor maneuvering for control. Now that he's a full-grown man, he can't just walk away again.

Letting Jeret escape was the biggest black mark on bounty hunter Dagan Nu'aim's otherwise distinguished years as a royal guard. When he catches Jeret back in-system, Dagan seizes the chance to regain his lost honor and bring the wayward prince home.

Jeret's not so sure he wants to go, but the reignition of his old crush on Dagan complicates the issue. As the two unravel a tangled plot against the crown, their old friendship lights up with a fiery new desire. And when the traitor strikes and the two men must choose between duty and freedom, neither is certain which to pick.

The best of the Sky Bound books!

So good, I think I am still cheesing!!! I just couldn't wait for Jaret's story and guess what... his name is not even Jaret! And O yeah... Jaret is a prince! Who would have thought!

This was an awesome action packed romance... but it did fall short on the smex... Lots of angst but very little smexing! We got plenty of smexing in books 1 and 2... but not so much here. But... that is how good it was, the lack of smexing wasn't even noticed until the end... So I enjoyed it just as much as book 1 and 2. Great Great! I hope there is another one, but I think this is it. (Sad face here... :(

Great Narration.. Jack LeFleur is pretty good.

Good Credit if you have books 1 and 2... Good buy if you plan to buy books 1 and 2.

A Little Disappointing

I think this book suffers from many finale books in that the expectations are just too high. I enjoyed the first and second books, but this one fell flat. Especially the ending. It started out good, went a little downhill and then BAM it was over. The ending was very unsatisfying for me and I felt like nothing really got resolved. If this was real life, I'd say I give the couple 6 months before they break up. The narrator if fabulous as usually and honestly he is the only reason I even started the series. LOVE JACK LEFLUER!!!!!

An intersting diversion

What did you love best about Sky Hunter?

The futuristic setting of Sky Hunter and the character dynamic between Jeret and Dagan.

What other book might you compare Sky Hunter to and why?

This book had that usual, but enjoyable, theme of watching two cold, scorned hearts find love in each other again. And so there are many, many books that have this same theme. However there is not that many with the same setting over arching plot which sets itself apart, if slightly.

More please!

I am a HUGE Firefly fan and this series was so reminiscent of it that I couldn’t help but love it. The characters over the three books have become so beloved. They are quirky and real. You become invested in their lives quickly and miss them when gone. If you love a good space cowboy series, you will love this one. Thanks for writing such a great story!

Jack LeFleur's da man!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

It's a great follow-up to the two previous books.

What about Jack LeFleur’s performance did you like?

His voice, first of all, is just downright sexy and that's what he makes this MM sci-fi - a sexy space adventure!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes because it's fast-moving, not long compared to most MF books and even if it were as long as a Karen Rose thriller, I'd still want to listen to it in one sitting.

Good Series. Held my interest.

Good progression of characters without rehashing other books in the series. My only comment would be more about production. By the third book in the series (I spend too much time in the car!] , I began to wonder how intergalactic folks had such Southern accents, ranging from Georgia gentlemen to deep backwoods Appalachian. I did enjoy Lafleur's Irish brogue!
