Publisher's summary

Each Sisterchick book encourages readers to find a special friend, a sisterchick, for sharing inspiration and support.

Sisterchicks Down Under transports listeners to New Zealand, where an American finds her world turned upside-down. Kathleen and her husband, Tony, have lived in suburban California for years. When Tony is offered a three-month filming job in Wellington, New Zealand, the couple looks forward to the move. But Kathleen is depressed by their tiny rental apartment in Wellington. Being alone each day while Tony works disheartens her even more. What she needs is a sisterchick.

Just when she thinks God has forgotten her, Kathleen meets Jill at a local coffee shop. Soon the two are sharing laughter, tears, prayers, and adventure.

Love this story and listening!

Great story that takes you away to a visit down under. I listened during my dialysis treatment and it carried me away. I laughed and cried and am so thankful for these stories.

great narration to go with an interesting story

the story was an easy listen and warmed my heart. I appreciated the narrator's use of accents. they were not over the top. just enough to add a little spice as I was listening.

Sisterchicks, always a favorite listen!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This story is about a woman who finds friendship of another woman at a coffeeshop. This story is about woman who is a recent "empty nester".

Who was your favorite character and why?

The Aussie woman and her classic truck was too funny!

Have you listened to any of Cecelia Riddett’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, I have not.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When the tears began to flow at the coffee shop.

Any additional comments?

As always, I appreciate the uplifting Christian values. Why read anything that dosen't?

Even more fun with Sisterchicks

It amazes me how Robin Jones Gunn continues to come up with interesting, meaningful stories that draw in the reader/listener. I can hardly wait to go to New Zealand now!
