phenomenal book

I love this book and the entire Jasmine series I just wish that she would have numbered the books in order because I've been looking for this book because I read all the books out of order and I feel like I need to go back and start from the first book.. but now I don't remember which book was first

Very Good Book!

I Love this whole series so far. I can't wait to see what Jasmine ends up doing next. This particular book was very good because it showed Jasmine in a more genuine light. In this story line she is forced to really feel something for once. Even though there were times in the other books where her real feelings were revealed, her daughter being kidnapped is too close to her heart so this situation made her more human to me.

Enjoyable Read

Although the secondary story threw me for a bit of a loop, and Jasmine was a bit of a mess in more ways than one, and some parts were very hard to listen to because of the sensitive nature- I really did enjoy this book. It was a great reminder that although God does permit certain things, they are not from him. And while I would have liked for Brian to be more present end, the ending was still great just as it was.

Jasmine still unlikeable poor hosea

listened to this on audible. the narrator did a good job.

Storyline
pace falters in places, unnecessarily wordy and repetitive and it's easy to get distracted. it was unnecessarily drawn out with repetitive inner monologues. overall a decent listen

random thoughts-

even through this horrible situation jasmine was still an unlikeable character and hosea still garnered your sympathies as did others who were a part of the bush family. I was left wondering again if Jasmine loves Hosea or just loves being a first lady.

the alexis/brian arc was uninteresting-alexis' character is still unlikeable. maybe if her character took accountability for the outcome of her situation then maybe, but I doubt it. the character was created as a judgemental, close minded person, ridiculous and remained that way with no growth thus far. What was the draw to her for Brian? Did he just enjoy chasing a woman? There relationship didn't make sense in this book for me.
alexis, jasmine and kyla remind me of a description i saw on social media called the petty olympics.

Liked it but...

I kind of felt like there was something missing in the story line. Almost as if there was a previous book and this was the continuation. I wish there was more detail in Brian and Alex relationship. But other than that it was ok. Also I love Patricia Floyd! She did a great job as usual!

Bible Bumping Opportunist

This was a great book. I am just really tired and exhausted of these women and men who live their lives screwing around cheating on their spouses, which is totally their business but, then fall back on the Bible and God, it turns my stomach. I hate some timey Christians. On a positive note, this is sadly how many people operate, so the basis of the book is life imitating art so that’s commendable. I absolutely love Patricia R Floyd, she really brings all of these characters to life.

GREAT!!!

loved the story. only reason why i didn't give 5 stars us because the storyline was a little drawn out. it was refreshing to also have Brian's story shared. overall, narrator was excellent!

"JASMINE??"

The drama queen rides again! Its always a Jasmine point of view and she's always rt. The players all played a great part in a great story, but Jasmine was too much sometimes.
