Publisher's summary

Book two in the Brooklyn Sinners series.

Gun runner Pablo Castillo has cemented his reputation in the gun trade as callous and cold-hearted. Personal feelings no longer matter, not with everyone out to make him a sacrifice on their way to the top. He remains untouchable, until a meeting with a rival gang leader and a new deal brings him face-to-face with temptation.

Dev is the right hand to a sadistic bastard out for blood and glory. He hides his true feelings of distaste for his boss, not the least of his many secrets. He could’ve sworn those secrets were safe, but after meeting Pablo he’s not so sure. The two men come together in a heated affair neither can deny, battling themselves, each other and a deadly enemy bent on spilling blood. Pablo and Dev will have to stick together or walk away from a love neither man expected to find. The choice should be simple. It never is.

I NEED MORE STARS...I think I fell in love with JP

What did you love best about Sinner, Savior?

One of the things I loved about this book was Pablo''s growth. From being in love with a ghost, scheduling love with an anonymous Levi, Off the charts hatred for his father (well deserved) ..to being the freaking hurricane that went to his man...his love when shit hit the fan. That man is a force of nature!!

What did you like best about this story?

The thing I love best about the story was Shane's determination to make Pablo his. He knew from jump that they were destined to be and he refused to let Pablo walk away from it. I cheered for him, cried with him wanted to punch Pablo sometimes ..It all started with a fight and he continued that fight for his man the whole time...it was beautiful .

Which character – as performed by Renard Pasquale – was your favorite?

The narrator did a fantastic job with all the characters but Pablo made me swoon every time.

If you could take any character from Sinner, Savior out to dinner, who would it be and why?

The character i would take out surprisingly is Shane....surprising cause I''m a little in love with Pablo. But He is definitely one of the strongest characters Ive seen in a while. Nothing came easy for him, just when things started looking up Pablo turned on him, then the boss, then the Ex. But damn if that boy doesn't know how to fight for what he wants.

Any additional comments?

Yea...I admit JP is my favorite book boyfriend.

Love this narrator and series!!! Seriously LOVE!

This is a book best listened to/read in order. We met Pablo in book one, he's Angelo's friend from the gang, Los Ps. He was also in love with Angelo and hiding it for all the reasons nobody knew Angelo was gay. Now Pablo's in charge and he's trying to do what's right for him and the gang.
Along the way he meets Dev, Dev is part of a rival's gun runners group but he's way more than that. Something about Dev calls to Pablo and though it makes no sense - in SO many ways - the two get involved.
When Pablo finds out some of Dev's secrets it's almost complete devastation. But Pablo finds he can't hurt Dev, even if he should.
**
Like Book one, this is a tale of two souls from opposite sides of the law, forced together and forced into realizing that love is more than their supposed affiliations. It's full of angst and anger and SUPER hot smexy times!
The same narrator I adored from book one also narrates here, Renard Pasquale. He gives Pablo a tremendously sexy accent, manages to give Dev a solid manly growl and really knows how to deliver when it comes to both emotion and pacing.
If you enjoyed book one you'll really want to continue on with the series and I recommend the audio books as the best possible way to enjoy them.
Highly Recommended!

Hooked on this series

OK, I'm completely hooked on this series. The narrator is doing a great job, with the exception of Syren's voice. I really hate it, which is going to be an issue in Book 3. Other than that, he gives wonderful depth and emotion to the other voices and does a fantastic Brooklyn accent. I should know as I grew up in Brooklyn. This 2nd books was great. It is much better, hotter, darker and wittier (is that a word?) than the first. I think what I like most about this author is he/she (no clue) unapologetically writes the alpha male characters with emotions while retaining their "manliness" These guys love and love hard. In the previous book, Angelo loved Gabe like no other, but there were lines he would not cross. Juan Pablo Castillo does not have those lines, as Dev finds out. There is nothing he would not do for Dev and there is a darkness within Pablo that only Dev can save him from. I also encourage readers to read the 2.5 free read on the author's website. It is really great and at 95 pages, a great novella to supplement this story. Onto book 3.

THE BEST - I have listened to this 5 times

Would you listen to Sinner, Savior again? Why?

Yes and I have, multiple times. The reason to listen to it over and over is easy Pablo, one of my favorite characters in any book that i have read or listened to. I dont know why i relate to himself. Im female, white, live in burbs now but hes real, and hes a beautiful character.

What does Renard Pasquale bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Its easy he makes the characters come to life. Unlike Gabe (whose character and character voice i couldnt stand) every character in this book is awesome. Renard should be doing more books.

Any additional comments?

This is the book to get, full price, credit, sale doesn't matter get this book.

Love book 2

I absolutely loved the first book so I couldn't wait to listen to the second book. This time around we get to know Pablo's story he taken over the roll as boss now that Angel has left gun trade. Loved Pablo and Dev/ Shane the chemistry between them was explosive the men are so damn tough, 2 Alpha male with , gangstas with guns, killing for love . This is book two in this series I can only describe Sinner, Savior as hot & dangerous This was really a good book i would definitely recommend. Renard Pasquale did a great job for bring the characters to life but narrator's voice for Syren was not to my liking but still love the book.

Another great installment in Brooklyn Sinners

Again, I am enjoying the narration and the story. This one picks up a little after Book 1.

Juan Pablo Castillo was left running Los Pescadores "Los P" after his boss and best friend Angelo Pagan chose to go legit and be with his love Detective Gabriel Ashby in Book 1, Love the Sinner.

While Juan was hurt as he was also in love with Angelo, he was dealing with the
fall out of being boss, assassination attempts. So he decided it was time to pay his enemies back, and he would start with Devon McGhee, his enemies #2. But as he toyed with Devon, he couldn't escape the feelings Devon awoke in him. What is it about Devon that captivated him? Is this what Angelo felt when he was around Gab? Pablo is a crime lord and many people depend on him for their living and he isn't willing to walk away. He has to decide if this side action with Devon is worth the trouble it's sure to bring his way.

This story was different enough from book 1 to be just as enjoyable. I loved the chemistry between Pablo & Devon. I loved the fact that Devon wore his feelings on his sleeve. He was never afraid to voice what he wanted. The writing kept me interested and flowed well. The sex scenes were plenty and were hawt. These two guys definitely had that combustible energy and I was feeling it! The narrator brought each character to life. i don't know what is going to happen to Mateo and the rest of Los P, but I want them to find love too. I will continue to listen to this series.
