Publisher's Summary

It's been three years since the Incursion; three long years since Bastian and his twin brother Theo became the sole survivors on the planet Noise. Their distress calls have gone unanswered, and they are running out of supplies. They have no one but each other. And when the long-awaited rescue finally arrives, it brings with it complications that make being alone and forgotten look easy.

Note: This title contains explicit content and features a relationship between twin brothers.

Starship Troopers + Aliens + Gay Psionic Twins

Who was your favorite character and why?

I really liked Bastian. I thought he was sweet and tough at the same time. Also, I have a thing for guys who can wear eyeliner while toting s big gun around.

Have you listened to any of Michael Stellman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I've only listened to one other performance by Michael Stellman (Stay With Me), and I thought he did a better job narrating Signal to Noise. His voice suited the story, and he was able to give more variation in the character voices. I had a hard time putting this down because I really liked Michael's tone and wanted to keep listening to it in one sitting.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Theo and Bastian thought they were going to die as bombs were being dropped on Noise.

Any additional comments?

I actually enjoyed this quite a bit although would have preferred less time spent on the (very) explicit sex scenes since they kind of messed with the pace and tension of the story. I mean, there are scary alien parasites turning their victims into zombies! The last thing the boys need to be doing is sexing each other up.

This is not the critically acclaimed book

Would you try another book from Talya Andor and/or Michael Stellman?

Nope

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

All three: Anger, Sadness and Disappointment. Anger at myself for purchasing the wrong book. Sadness that this was not the critically acclaimed book by Silvia Moreno-Garcia. And disappointment when I was expecting an awesome fantasy novel and I ended up with incest, gay porn.
