Amazing Story!

I love this book. Albeit "fiction", the truths & teachings found within are solid and Life-Changing! I couldn't wait to get back to listening to it. The narrator has the most beautiful, peaceful voice. Perfect for conveying the essence of the writer's words! Can't wait to listen to the next one!

Life changing and transforming...

Loved it! Narrator did a great job! Easy to listen to. couldn't stop listening at times. We're reading this book as apart of a book club at our church and it was just what we all needed right before our retreat!
I could relate to all main characters in some form and I was right there on that emotional journey with all of them.
Message that stuck with me was, sticking with what stirs me... that was the first message that has opened the door for the Spirit to do His work... It's been a great journey with these women and the disciplines learned has reawaken my hunger to delve deeper into God's love.

Life changing!

This was such an awesome book! It could be great for a study group and really helped me look inside myself and peeled off a few onion layers that helped me get even closer to God!

Fiction that powerfully permeates the healing truths of God.

As a licensed Christian therapist, I was delighted with the realness and depth of the characters. But never have I seen the Holy Spirit’s healing powers interwoven so beautifully into a fictional book. Truly a masterpiece that i thoroughly enjoyed!

Mixed feelings

I had a hard time getting through this book,. Even though it had interesting characters with their own interesting story lines, I felt like I was going through a class that was online where I was not involved. I could see some women relating to one character and it could be used by God to change their life. If I had been living the story, taking the class I might have found my own walk expressed. I was not able to do that as a listener (reader) of this book.

Precious treasure

Sensible Shoes had me captivated from the outset. It is deeply rich and challenging and there is precious treasure to be found in the pages. I can't wait to read the rest of the books in the series. And my heart is stirred to see Sharon lead a spiritual retreat here in Scotland. Watch this space!
