Definitely! I think all my friends with Kids should listen (read) this book.

Drew cracks me up... Only because I have a friend just like him. Inappropriate t-shirts and all...

Kind of disappointing.

The book itself is absolutely hilarious! One of the funniest books I've read(listen to). The book is full of laugh out loud moments. Romy is doing well narrating the book. However, there are times with the book switches characters and it takes a minute which character she's portraying. I wish she could/would distinguish between her male and female voices. To my ears they’re all the same. Either way, I’ve enjoyed this book so much, I’m downloading the next one right now. Happy Listening!

Fun and naughty

This was quite a funny book with several laugh out loud moments. it was lighthearted, perfect for a holiday or travel.

I would give a warning though that the language is very explicit with lots of swearing throughout.

The narrator's performance is good, however I personally found that she sounded significantly older than the age of the characters, which I found distracting.

LOVED IT!!!

This book had me in tears I laughed so hard. It really brightened my lunch break and morning commute.

Narrator doesn't fit this story

I should preface this by saying that I don't know much about the story because I didn't get far, but it's mostly about the narration. This story seemed like exactly what I was looking for--fun, sarcastic, and crass. I listened to it for about 20 mins and couldn't take it anymore. There's swearing in the book and it talks about sex and you could feel how uncomfortable the narrator was about talking about it. If you've ever watched The Gilmore Girls, it would be about as comfortable if Emily Gilmore was talking about sex and swearing. This book needs someone like Kristen Wiig narrating it.

Very Good

This was one of the funniest books I have ever listened to. Claire was so funny and Gavin was also Claire and Carter had a one night stand when she was in college and got pregnant Carter spend 5 years trying to remember the girl who smelt like chocolate. I loved listening to this book and can't wait to listen to the rest of this series.

YES!!! I just finished all 3 books in the series and I want to start over again! I was laughing almost non-stop while listening to this book! Tara Sivec I bow down to your Queen of Crude Humor!

Who was your favorite character and why?

It's really a toss up between Gavin and Drew since they are pretty much on the same mental level ;-P No spoilers here, listen to the book!

If you are easily offended or have no sense of humor (pretty much the same thing) don't listen to this book. Otherwise do yourself a favor and dive in this crazy-funny series! I still will randomly giggle thinking of scenes and certain vocabulary. Love, Love, Love!!!!!!

Tara writes rom/com, something I had been looking for...some authors dabble in it..Molly Harper and Rich Amooi nail it...and TADA So does Tara!!!

I am super excited that I have found Tara Sivec!!!! This was hilarious...and I am on to book 2 right now...and have bought book 3!!!

Claire starts this book by straight out letting us all know she DOES NOT want kids...but a Frat party ensues and feeling pressure to lose her virginity...BOOM Prego! Whats worse is it becomes a one night stand, she really liked him and even after looking for him, she cant find him....

Carter has searched for his mysterious chocolate smelling girl almost obsessively...and coming off a bad relationship, he ends up in Claire's hometown!

They meet again after 4yrs....at a bar....Claire is bartending and she sees him...shen knows immediately its him...he does not remember its her...but they are definitely attracted to each other 100%!! They meet again by chance and he asks her out... He finally remembers...and in comes Gavin...the most hilarious 4yo EVER!!!!

I thought how Carter adapted to fatherhood was so sweet...and the relationship between Claire and Carter is really good..and I loved every minute of this, even though I would prefer a different narrator, She is not bad...but I dont like her male voices.

SUPER FUN BOOK....I RECOMMEND!!!!

what just happened?

I'm going to listen to this again, because it all seems too easy. is there no struggle in this story? granted, I spent half the time trying to figure out who the narrator was. there was little to no change of voice to help me know who was talking. I'll give it another shot, and hope for better

First half is ok.

First half of the book was funny and engaging. Second half was naah. Narration is excellent.

Decent story but the narration was not good. All the characters sounds exactly the same whether they were Male or female.
