Masterful performance by Rachel Brandt.

What was most disappointing about J. P. Sterling’s story?

Could not get into the story. Very slow, gave up after a few chapters of nothing happening.

What does Rachel Brandt bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Great characterization, I loved how she read each new character in a distinct way. Rachel's voice is very soothing.

Wonderful adaptation

What about Rachel Brandt’s performance did you like?

Rachel really brings the characters to life. This is difficult as there is quite the diverse cast, and she does each one justice in her own unique way.

Any additional comments?

I have always enjoyed Ruby in the Water. It's a wonderful heart-felt book that tackles serious issues through the lens of a family coping with tragic news. Now, hearing it brought to life adds another subtle layer to the reading experience that shouldn't be overlooked or missed.
