Publisher's summary

From New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Vivian Arend comes the next book in the best-selling Six Pack Ranch series!

Innocence and passion are an addictive mix....

The dark-haired stranger next door triggers every protective instinct Trevor Coleman never knew he had. From the moment Becky Hall literally falls into his arms, the last man standing of the Moonshine clan doesn't even attempt to resist sweet temptation. Becky is beautiful, mysterious, and heartbreakingly vulnerable...and he's a goner.

To escape the hell she was trapped in, Becky left everything behind but her courage. And for once in her life, good people step up to make a difference - a helping hand, a new job...a very attentive and libido-stroking neighbor. Now a new future awaits, one that shockingly includes sexual pleasure instead of icy pain and a sexy cowboy who's more than eager to show her the ropes.

Becky's sweet smiles and seductive innocence draw him in like nectar, and Trevor knows one taste will never be enough. But with secrets thicker than a bumper crop, changing a life will take more than a new ID and a cowboy's good intentions.

It's gonna take sacrifice to break these chains.

Warning: Boy meets girl, boy falls in love with girl - all hell breaks loose. We've got a hero whose hands are tied in more ways than one, a heroine who wants to experience everything she's ever missed, and a family that needs to discover if its roots go deep enough to weather any storm.

wow

this is a great book with alot of things going on. I love how she made it that stranger never knows how they can help someone. I love the faith and family dynamic. I love how she makes a issue that is very common anymore and her view how to fix it. Vivian is awesome and I absolutely love this series can't wait for the next one.

Moonshine Girl

This is one of my favorites in the Six Pack Ranch series. The love, patience, and kindness displayed is fantastic! Add in the silliness and you can't go wrong.

I love how Rebecca "Becky" Hall crashes into Trevor Coleman's life. I also love how he calls her Rodeo.

Things have definitely not be easy for Becky, but crossing paths with a Coleman was the first step to better things. It's a bit heartbreaking to learn what she escaped, but watching Trevor navigate that made him my favorite Coleman.

The friendships and general comradery between the extended family members, Uncle Ben excluded, continues to be inspiring. I love how they all receive Becky into the group and look out for her and show her new, fun experiences.

The moments of fun craziness help keep things on the lighter side, even while properly acknowledging the long-term impacts of what Becky went through. Things like Trevor getting advice from Travis or Trevor's determination to prove the insurance company wrong had me laughing aloud.

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrator continues to be Tatiana Sokolov. She's a really good narrator, very enjoyable to listen to.

Absolutely loved this one!

I absolutely adored this one! It really pulled me in from beginning to end with Becky and Trevor. I loved them together. This one definitely pulls on the heartstrings as Becky has been through hell but she is still so sweet and kind. I loved the way she found her feet in this story. Trevor was perfect for her. His humor and ability to have fun was really what Becky needed. He could and did handle the seriousness but he also gave some lightheartedness into that which allowed it to not be too overwhelming for Becky. These two just fit and worked together so well because he was exactly what she needed to make her feel safe and bring her out of her shell. I loved how everything went and getting to see Trevor keep his goofy side but also show his more serious, stubborn one at the same time. This story was great and we get a few more secrets of the Coleman variety and I am really excited to see what is coming next in the series. I just absolutely adored this one!
The narrator did a great job with the characters as well. She brought the story to life.

Sweet couple

Becky - Damsel in distress, running/hiding from past (a polygamist cult)
Trevor - protective and patient friend/boyfriend

small town, big family, great world-building stories with the Coleman clan.

When you love Love

Love the romance between these two. As always love the Coleman family, ranch and town setting. Arend as always writes a small town western romance jewel. Narration is fabulous. Ms Sokolov voices this family well across the books which is a huge positive.

Wow!

I can't say enough good about. this book! From the beginning it grabbed my heartstrings and never let go. Such a nice mix of experience and innocence. Trevor was the very experienced one, while Becky was very innocent even though she grew up in one cult then married into another. She took back control and escaped, almost directly into Trevor's capable arms. We get to see Becky grow into her freedom and enjoy life, with Trevor's guidance. Trevor was so very patient, loving and understanding, right up through the end of the book. An awesome guy who went from being quite a playboy, to loving everything about Becky, even with her very serious intimacy issue. They made their relationship work despite her inability to consummate their union.

One of my favorite parts was Trevor asking cousin Travis for advice, it was good to see a settled Travis. The river tubing was also fun, wish I was there too! I feel as if I knows all the characters so well now, they're very real, making me want to be part of their circle! Haha, no I'm not crazy, I do know they aren't real, but that's how real and likable the families are! Definitely a series worth listening to, then continue with the Thompson family series. same characters you will remember from The Six Pack Ranch books.

Hope you enjoy as much as I did! Just remember, although I tend to focus more on the relationships, there's quite a bit of adult content in this series, if that's a problem for you then these books probably aren't for you.

Have enjoyed all of this author's books!

Although this plot is somewhat overused in romance, the character development in this story is good enough to have had me invested. I look forward to reading/listening to more of her books in the future.

A sweet caring romance.
Beth has some intimacy problems because of how and where she was raised but Trevor is a gentle understanding lover.
A good romance.
