Publisher's Summary

Throughout their childhood, the love between Silas and Cathleen has grown stronger and now, in 1900, they start to plan a life together. But a jealous woman is determined to ruin their happiness and uses Silas's father to do so. As a dutiful son, Silas has no choice but to obey his father, and Cathleen must pay the bitter price. Separated, each is swept to a place where it seems there is no love or peace, and no way back.

unforgettable!

Writing this through teary eyes! A most enjoyable story read by my favourite narrator Carole Boyd! Found it very difficult to put down. Capturing all the characters with her unique voice. I hope Josephine Cox has left the door ajar for a sequel to this impelling story. A definite must read in anyones library!
Congratulations Authour and Narrator!
