The younger children are afraid to go school because their schoolmaster does not like children. In addition to all of this, these ready-made families must learn about Montana winters, illnesses, thievery, and how to make their family members, who had been strangers only months ago, become a real family. And what should the atheist parson do when someone walks the aisle and asks him how to get born again?
