Okay zombie book
I feel like the jokes fell flat, seemed a bit forced. It was also too predictable. Character's lacked complexity. Narrators were pretty good though.

A zombie comedy!
I LOVE this series. I read it when it first came out and couldn’t get enough. Then I saw it had an audio version and decided it was time to listen to it. Nothing like a zombie apocalypse to prevent a pending divorce. The narrator did a great job!

Dumb Title, fun book

This is such a surprise! Fun listen
Where does Married with Zombies rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I don't rank them - too many books and so many wonderful narrators and authors! When I finished this one I immediately downloaded the other two by Jesse Petersen's in the audible web and enjoyed them all.

Saving your Marriage the Hard Way!
This story had me from the beginning! A couple are on their way to their marriage counselor without much hope of resurrecting their relationship and find their counselor is not quite herself. The main characters are determined to work together to survive, using whatever is available (such as a toilet seat as a weapon). The reader captured the nuances of character and plot beautifully.

Zombie’s rekindle the flame
When the flame of love is sputtering and the only thing holding you in your relationship is the weekly therapy sessions, zombies ARE a game changer. Nothing comes to rescue a relationship like a zombie outbreak. This is the time for small talk to end while your true self blooms in a bloodbath of lusty zombie slaying. Who knew that a little zombie killing was just what this marriage needed?

Soft Core Zombie
Any additional comments?
Most of my favorite zombie books build tension and have a sense of impending doom. This has a little of that, the characters seem to escape danger easily. What I do really like about this series is the humor. I love the bickering between Sarah and David and the "marriage counseling / zombie survival rules" that start each chapter. "The couple that slays together, stays together". Recommend this series for a light read, maybe to break up any darker zombie books you may be reading.
