A Romantic Comedy
Fiona Cantrell is a woman on a mission. More aptly put, she's a fairy godmother on a mission. Her dream of moving to London is about to come true now that all that stands between her and her new job is a few unpacked suitcases. Or so she thinks until her old boss shows up with one more little task for her to complete before she leaves for Europe. Her new assignment involves a handsome cowboy named Cody, his two rascally nephews, and a mountain of laundry...all of which would be no problem for any self-respecting fairy godmother.
While Fiona manages to handle the laundry and the boys, she quickly learns that she's not immune to Cody's considerable charm. It takes everything she's got to stay focused on completing her task so she can head to London. But when tragedy strikes, Fiona realizes that it will take more magic than she has to try to save a life and mend her own broken heart.

I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom. There wasn't a lot of story development in some areas. I would've liked to know the connection between the mother and Fiona other than Tessa. It felt a little clunky and then for her to just have appeared on the ranch with Liam. There were other incidents that seemed unlikely that Fiona would've never experienced unless the story background had been a little more developed.

MAGIC WAND RANCH is the third book in the Special Gifts series. I was not warned that it was a continuation and that did cause some initial confusion, but I caught on quickly enough.
This is a very sweet and cute romance. I think I fell in love with the boys as much as, if not more than the adults! I was very entertained by this short listen and will definitely listen again. The conclusion was heartwarming and sigh-worthy. Cody is a total swoon of a cowboy!
I’m looking through my kindle to see if I have any more of Ms. Mickelson’s books!
Note: while I was given this book as a gifted ARC, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

I would recommend this book however the reader needs to understand that the story is very quick, the plot not terribly developed and sort of rushed, and the wrap up tidy. I generally enjoy stories that are much longer and have a deep, almost convoluted plot line. This is definitely not that type of story.
What a Fun story to listen too. It was easy paced and flowed naturally. I loved everything about it. Leonor A. Woodworth did a wonderful job as narrator. I like how she differentiated between the male/female and younger nephews voices. It was very easy to follow the story and know who was speaking. I will definitely be reading more o Caroline Mickelson's work.
Fiona is a fairy godmother with a mission. Extremely light listening while I do housework or take a walk. Loved reviewing
If you could sum up Magic Wand Ranch in three words, what would they be?
Author Caroline Mickelson did a wonderful job combining Fairy Godmothers and Cowboys in this unique story. I love the characters; especially Fiona, even when she is clueless she charges ahead with a calm determination. The relationship between Fiona and Cody is very sweet. Even though there are some magical elements I could really see all the mishaps really happening especially when the two little boys are involved.
Narrator Leonor A Woodworth does a lovely job bringing the story to life. She has a clear joyful voice.
This is an easy quick read that will bring a smile to your face. No bad language, sex or violence in this book. I would recommend to anyone that is looking for a short book with a little sweet romantic comedy.
What made the experience of listening to Magic Wand Ranch the most enjoyable?
"Magic Wand Ranch" was a cute story that was very easy to follow.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Magic Wand Ranch?
I really liked the interaction between the characters.
What about Leonor A. Woodworth’s performance did you like?
A very soothing voice.
A cute little story about a fairy godmother who finds true love. I generally enjoyed this in a feel good sort of way. There were a few small inconsistencies, I'm a little bothered by the slender brunette on the cover since the character is meant to be curvy, and I'm a lot bothered that it employes the cliched need for a woman give up her own power for true love (why can women never have both), but for the most part I found it a fun 'read.' The narrator did a wonderful job. I'd be up for more of Mickelson's writing or Woodworth's narration.
Note: I received an audible copy for the purposes of review. I chose to 'read' and review it.
Magic Wand Ranch is a feel good read. A great read if you like a little fairytale with your romance. Funny at times, it will make you smile. It is a refreshing story about a fairy god mother who makes wishes come true, untill an incident happens and she doesn't have anymore magic glitter.
This was one of the best books, if not the best book I have read in a long time.
