GREAT, FUN READ! FULL OF SURPRISES!

I really loved the characters of the three friends. They were very likeable. As always, I loved the twists and turns CW provides in his stories. I also liked that this story wasn't full of downright smut. Do not hesitate to purchase this or any other book written by CW. As for the narrator, he truly is one of the best! He has such talent. I love that he can play so many characters, including females, then switch back to his normal voice when just reading. Simply amazing. Love and admiration to both CW and KF.

What a Page Turner!!

This was one of Carl Weber's best books yet. Reading this was like watching a movie with all the twists & turns. The narrators were great with each character. I hated to stop listening...Great Book!

Another good one.

This wasn't his best work, but if Carl Webber wrote it, I will read it.

This book was just OK

The relationships were so predictable and it was very clear what was going to happen maybe if I had read this back when it was written it would have been better.

Good Boook

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, the storyline is very and easy to listen to.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Lookin' For Luv?

When Kevin and Alisha got back together.

How could the performance have been better?

It could of been a lot better if it would have different narrator...The narration was horrible with one person trying to do male and female voices.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

when the came back together to talk about how their lives turned out.

Slightly Disappointed

While I love Carl Weber, this story line left me a little disappointed. The main characters appeared to be more that of 12 year olds instead of adult men. This book was hard for me to WANT to get to the end. I kept thinking..."Can these "men" really be this stupid?"
Also, the narrator Kevin Free didn't make the book any better to listen to. His voice and what I envisioned for the men was soft & weak. His voice was more irritating than the actual story.

Love this book

Where does Lookin' For Luv rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This book doesn't have any boring parts. The narrator did an awesome job with voice changes and accents between the different men and women in the book. He was animated and i was able to laugh as I was able to imagine faces of the characters.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I liked all the characters. They had different personalities which I feel every friend should have.

Which scene was your favorite?

When I found out Shawna was a man; which I assumed she was based off of the slightly lower voice the narrator gave her.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When everyone seemed to be elevated in their professions and career choices.

Any additional comments?

Thru Thick Thru Thin

What did you love best about Lookin' For Luv?

How each guy's encounter w/ the dating line had me cracking up and wondering do things like that really happen.

What did you like best about this story?

When Antwane , Tyone, and, Kevin, like females do, almost always ran back to each other for support.

Which scene was your favorite?

When Tyrone had that incident w/ that old lady, had his hormones going crazy at first not knowing who it was, while he was on his date

If you could take any character from Lookin' For Luv out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Antwane b/c I love to read or Tyrone b/c he'd make me laugh
