Nativity story brought to life

Where does Lo, How a Rose rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

One of the best audiobooks I have ever listened to. The narration was beautiful!

Who was your favorite character and why?

I loved Mary's character. I loved seeing her become real in my mind. Instead of this person I had always heard of. My love and respect for her grew exponentially.

Have you listened to any of Mark Deakins and Emily Rankin ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, this was my first book narrated by them. It was brilliant!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The entire story was moving. But I loved when Joseph realized his mistake when he didn't believe Mary had seen an angel and asked Mary for forgiveness and gave her a special gift.

Any additional comments?

I've heard the nativity story my entire life. This book truly brought the characters to life. My love and respect grew for them and they became more real in my eyes. Such a touching story! Everyone needs to own this book for their Christmas collections.

Great Family read

As one that doesn't read very often, I couldn't put it down. Great Christmas Spirit.

Historically written about the culture and time of Jesus’s birth.

This account is well written. It follows the scripture but also expands the story of Mary and Joseph to illustrate the culture and ways during this era of history. Did it happen as told… just maybe? I truly enjoyed the experience.
