Suspense, Mystery, Romance, God's Plan

Have you listened to any of Christina Moore’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Christina Moore is one of my favorite narrators! She keeps the voices distinct throughout the story and keeps the interest high!

Any additional comments?

Colleen Coble is ranked in my library as one of my top five authors! Great writer! Thank you for writing this series!

mediocre

overall it was OK at best. I could see this as the foundation of a series of books that would allow the character development and plot to dig in deeper. I wanted to feel the grit of the story. the characters have this great potential to be so much more. There were so many things happening at once that it didnt slow down enough to allow the imagary of the moment to fully develop. The use of God or faith played such a miniscule part in the story. It was a weak attempt. Either make God the center or dont. It came off luke warm.

Another Winner

I've come to love Colleen Coble. She captures and keeps my attention with interesting characters, storylines and plot twists. She manages to keep me guessing while threading romance and adventure throughout, without getting too 'heavy', always giving you a happy ending.

Good, but not the best in the series.

Would you listen to Lightkeeper's Ball again? Why?

No, sick and tired of hearing reader swallow... disgusting.

What didn’t you like about Christina Moore’s performance?

The other two books in this series were also narrated by Ms. Moore and she did a good job, but with this one she swallowed repeatedly and it was very disgusting. I actually sped it up to hurry up and finish it and hopefully disguise/hide the swallowing sounds, but that didn't help. Why don't they take a break and get a drink or something?! Yuck!! This ruins me on wanting to listen to any more of Colleen Coble's books or anything narrated by her.

Any additional comments?

Not the best story by Ms. Coble, seemed to have been written in a hurry, lots of stuff thrown together, not as cohesive and flowing as the others. Still a good story overall.

Enjoyable Read!

I actually listened to this book but still enjoyed it as much as if I had read it myself. Good, clean, romance, mystery!! Love Colleen Coble! Thanks for writing these kinds of books!
