Editorial Reviews

Lisa Ivary delivers an authentic, riveting performance of Deborah Camp's sweeping romance set in the Old West, which depicts the passionate relationship between Copper-Headed Woman, expelled from her tribe for mastering the healing powers of the Crow Indians, and Tucker Jones, a soldier coping with the effects of war after being left for dead on the field of battle.

The emotional scars left by Copper-Headed Woman's tumultuous past and the volatile landscape of the American frontier are brought vividly to life by Ivary's gritty yet soulful performance of Camp's enthralling romance.

Publisher's Summary

Finding Love

If you could sum up Lady Legend in three words, what would they be?

Adventure, love, and trust.

What other book might you compare Lady Legend to and why?

I haven't read another book like this one. What was nice was the story wasn't predictable. Sure the couple finds love but the journey was a wonderful change of pace.

What about Liisa Ivary’s performance did you like?

She did a wonderful narration of the book.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It was hard to put down but it was too long. It took me about 3 days.

Any additional comments?

The story was well written. A story of a soldier who has been attacked and left for dead. Copper finds him and nurses him back to health. The beauty of the story is that Copper learns to trust again. There is a happy ending.
