Inspired by their hero, Walt Williams, three retirees decide to give Lady Justice a helping hand.

Although their intentions are good, these septuagenarian sleuths get crossways with the Kansas City mafia, dangerous drug dealers, and the Russian mob.

Walt must come to their rescue, putting himself in harm’s way to pull their eager, but aging, fannies out of the fire.

Follow the action as Walt and the geriatric gumshoes prove once again that good guys can triumph over evil, no matter how old they are.

Walt saves other oldsters!

private-investigators, action, suspense, verbal-humor, situational-humor, slavery, the-mob

Another wild ride with Walt and friends! This episode is devoted to three septuagenarians who want to make a difference but don't think things through and are unprepared in nearly each instance, thus requiring a bailout by Walt and others. They do learn a little from each mistake as they tackle things like drugs sold near schools, a meth lab, slavery, and more. In spite of the danger and serious topics, there's lots of laughs!
I need audio, and George Kuch continues to be excellent as narrator!

So much packed into one amazing book!

The author provided me with a complimentary copy of this audiobook with no expectation of a review. Wow, this book had so many capers in it my head is still spinning and I stayed up way too late to finish it. As the title implies, the book is about three senior citizens that get in over their heads trying to help Lady Justice. After one of the three gumshoe wannabes gets into VERY hot water, it's Walt and Kevin to the rescue. The Geriatric Gumshoes are involved in at least four other investigations and the witty one-liners that make this series so much fun are also in abundance. Get this book now! You definitely won't regret it and will find yourself smiling, rolling your eyes, and laughing out loud.

An eye-opener!

The statistics on child slavery was mind-boggling!
We learned that we can all do something no matter how small to make this a better place.

George Kuch did a great job narrating.

I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, narrator or publisher in exchange for an unbiased review via audiobookboom com.

Great Story, Great Narration!

Robert Thornhill continues to amaze me with this wonderful series. I love how Walt is evolving from his retirement from the Kansas City Police Department to an amazing PI. Lady Justice series is so engaging and has wonderful characters. Each book is a standalone listen and yet has so much woven into the story. I love how the author ties together things that are current events along with deep issues (sex trafficking in this instance) and humor. I can't recommend this series high enough. The stories are thought provoking, humorous, and astonishing in how they come across. George Kuch continues to be the voice of Walt and crew. His voice and timing fit perfectly. I will definitely listen to more by this talented author and narrator.

A great listen!

The best thing about this series is that there is so much action packed into one book! Yet they still all fit together. In this book Walt meets a group of seniors who want to copy him and be crime fighters. They get into some trouble with the mob & from there so many hijinks ensue! At the same time the stories told here are real life issues which don’t often get much attention (such as sex trafficking). There are serious topics that are handled with care & mixed with enough humor & mystery to keep it light!

Love These Old Gents

I absolutely love this series as they are thought provoking with humor. In this book there are 3 new elderly men who also want to fight crime/corruption and Walt and Keith get involved with them. It included dope dealers with kids, meth lab, the Mafia, Russians and child abduction for prostitution. I love all of the characters especially Walt and his extended family. Great narration as usual. Highly recommend if you enjoy thought provoking mysteries with humor. Keep them coming! I was given this free audiobook by author and have voluntarily left this review. THANK YOU!!!!

Walt and crew ride again!

Lady Justice and the Geriatric Gumshoes
Robert Thornhill

Lady Justice and the Geriatric Gumshoes (Lady Justice #27)
by Robert Thornhill

Walt Williams and friends return with an addition of a trio of new untrained but enthusiastic wannabe PI's. They face drug dealers, organized crime family, and lets not forget sex traffickers. There is plenty of action, drama, and as always humor to round out the story.

I love the way Robert Thornhill brings to light current hot issues facing mid- America and the rest of the country.

Thanks for another great book!!!

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. I can't say enough about George Kuch's excellent job of taking me into Walt's world!!!

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

The wisdom to know the difference.

It becomes increasingly difficult to find superlatives to describe these wonderful stories and their narrator, George Kuch.

In Lady Justice and the Geriatric Gumshoes, Mr.Kuch again becomes the elderly cop turned private eye, Walt Williams, intimately relating his latest experiences of family, friends and, yes, three retired citizens who, inspired by Walt's own crime fighting activities, decide to themselves become geriatric caped crusaders. Funny, with deeper thoughts to ponder, this delicious book by Robert Thornhill is another not to be missed.
