Publisher's summary

How old is too old to dream? Walt Williams always dreamed of being a hero. When retirement isn't all it's cracked up to be, Walt decides it's the perfect time to achieve his dream and give Lady Justice a helping hand. So he decides to become a cop! Follow Walt as he leaves the real-estate world and retirement to solve crime and bring perps to justice. It's a bumpy but often hilarious ride. Walt and Ox, his partner in the Kansas City police department, find very unorthodox ways of bringing criminals to justice. After all, Walt has to rely on his ability to outsmart the bad guys. And they have plenty of help from others in the senior set. In this action packed, laugh-out-loud tale, Walt and his band of scrappy seniors are faced with the terrifying challenge of taking out the Realtor Rapist and the huge job of bringing down the Russian mob. It's a job only the City Retiree Action Patrol can do, and they provide plenty of laughs along the way. I guarantee, after listening to Lady Justice Takes a C.R.A.P., you will come away with a new light-hearted perspective and respect for the triumphs and challenges of the senior set. In fact, you may even be prompted to ask your grandpa what he's been up to lately!

What did you love best about Lady Justice Takes a C.R.A.P.?

This book is a quick and amusing read about the contributions that seniors can make. The book contains short chapters, each of which tells one of Walt's adventures. This book has humor for all ages not just seniors.

Author has a knack for taking the reader back to

the world we grew up in, where a joke was a joke and women very likely were broads. The time flies while listening to the story go deeper and deeper. Walt has such great luck, I want him to buy me a Powerball ticket.

Lady Justice Takes a C.R.A.P.

Lady Justice Takes A C.R.A.P.
: Robert Thornhill
I have to say I hadn't read or listened to this author before. That doesn't mean I haven't heard of him. I started listening, not quite sure what to expect. The story drew me in from the start, with a career change, crime fighting senior citizens and set in Kansas City. I will be looking for more of these books, hopefully in audio format.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed by George Kuch.

I didn't know what to expect. I'm glad I decided to take a chance. I love the sense of humor displayed throughout the book. I've listened to the narrator before. He did not disappoint. I received this audobook for free through Audiobook Boom for my unbiased review.

A senior adventure with lots of great characters!

The main character is my dad's age, so I had a lot of fun imagining him taking on the world of crime & catching thieves!
This book was a fun listen from beginning to end. There are a lot of hilarious characters, including Willie (he was my fav), who made this story even better! Big personalities & lots of adventure. There are also quite a few mysteries and adventures packed into this listen. It's not just one murder that takes the whole book to solve. Rather, there are quite a few cases to solve & dynamics happening. So, there is a lot that keeps the listener entertained!
I was gifted this book in exchange for my honest review.

Thoroughly Entertaining

I received this audiobook freely from the author/narrator, or publisher and am offering my free and unbiased review. Nice introduction to a series. Looks like there will be a bunch of memorable characters and hopefully a continuation of those we just met in this first book. I really enjoyed this "listen". Thank You

Surprisingly fun & enjoyable read

Lady Justice Takes a C.R.A.P. is my first read/listen from author Robert Thornhill. Although I own 20 of his books I’d never gotten around to reading one until I got the first book in Audio. My loss. Since I own both the Kindle & Audible editions I was able to follow along with the narration. An enjoying & entertaining read. Filled with puns & one-liners, that’s just plain fun. Narrator George Kuch adds greatly to the listening enjoyment with his wide variety of entertaining voices & inflections. I’ll definitely be reading more from Thornhill!

Loved this more than Evanowich

What a delightful read. Humor, drama, romance. After you retire what are you going to do. Join the police force as a rookie. Get those bad guys.I chuckled often while reading this book. Cannot wait to read book 2.

Definitely what I expected

Any additional comments?

I knew this story would be a wonderful romp into what seniors can accomplish if given the chance. It delivered.

The vignettes were fun, the criminal chase's were exciting, and the narration was completely in step with the character.

It was a pretty basic story but a good time was had by all.
