A great listen from start to finish

I have listened to or read all of Sophie Kinsella's other books and thoroughly enjoyed them, so when I saw she had a new one out I instantly used my credit to download it. I've got your number did not disappoint. From the first chapter I was transported into Poppy's world and was reluctant to leave it when the book finished. As usual Sophie Kinsella does a great job getting you on side with the characters, and Clare Corbett does a fantastic job portraying the characters in her performance. I highly recommend this book.

Great story and great audio book!

Loved it. It's a light hearted rom-com. I am surprised there is no movie made on this story yet.

A nice story in a "Bridget Jones" - type of way..

If you are in the mood for a british humored story, this is just the thing. Lots of embarassing moments, off key singing (yes - she really does sing), a lot of confusing texts and e-mails and little bit of love, but no big exclamations and only a few kisses. I did like the stoy, but it did not, as many other books have, keep me up at night. It a story you listen to, just for the fun of it, but is is not a story waiting for a sequal. I am normally mostly interested in romance fantasy books, but it did make for a nice little break, and I did laugh several times. If you are a Bridget Jones-type of girl - this is your type of book!

Marvellous chick lit

Entertaining, laugh out loud funny at times. Chick lit with a little less fluff and a bit more substance than most in the genre. A great diversion from every day life.

Funny, light hearted and entertaining

Typical Sophie Kinsella. As always there are some misunderstandings and a bit of cringiness, but very entertaining and funny. The narrator is fantastic, and brings the characters to life. An easy, light hearted entertaining listen which will leave you smiling.

Enjoyable

Enjoyable but too much detail. I found it all a bit too far fetched, however, I did enjoy it and hung on in there. Having read two novels by this author I would not buy another.

Passes the time!

This book is very mediocre but did make laugh maybe twice. The story follows Poppy, a good natured bimbo who is about to get married but then it all goes wrong because she loses her ring. Then follows a series of implausible events, firstly she gets her phone stolen but then... Hurrah! She finds a new one in a bin. But the owner of the phone, Sam, wants it back as he needs to get his emails. ( why he can't pick up his emails anywhere else is not explained). Anyway crucially, they 'share' the phone, as she 'needs' it, or she'll die. She then reads all his emails, and takes it upon herself to reply to everyone he knows. She also sticks diamanté decorations all over the phone (doesn't everyone decorate their phone??). Er, no Poppy, no one decorates their phone unless they are at primary school. He is annoyed yet decides that she has saved company he works for and has reformed his life. Meanwhile she doesn't like her in-laws -to-be because they use long words that she doesn't understand. And she hardly knows the man she is marrying. There are lots of penny-dropping moments for poppy, that the reader sees coming a few pages before... I found this annoying! Bless her, she's just a bit dim.

Brilliant!

Thoroughly enjoyable book by Sophie Kinsella. Very engaging, and the narration is exemplary. I just spent the past five hours sitting listening to the final half of the book, I didn't want to leave it! Would definitely recommend the purchase of this audiobook.

Laugh out loud

I loved this story. Sophie Kinsella how do you continually come up with these funny, lovable protagonists. I love the ramblings inside the head of Poppy Wyatt. ( Katie Brenner with her Verdi sack is still my fav though) thankyou again for a great read!!

Light and fun

What made the experience of listening to I've Got Your Number the most enjoyable?

I truly enjoyed this book. Not to deep and meaningful but lots of fun.

What was one of the most memorable moments of I've Got Your Number?

Really too many to mention. Quite a fun book that had me giggling in lots of places.

Any additional comments?

Such a light and fun book. The girl in this book was just hilarious. She manages to get so embroiled in the owner of the phones life in ways one would never think of.<br/>A truly enjoyable book and would love to read more from the author.
