Captivating!

And so many details of Dori/Miranda's part was true to the life of a good friend of mine!

In Search of Eden

This is a wonderful, inspirational, Christian novel. This book shows how our "mistakes" can turn into blessings if we put them in the hand of God. It begins with a teenage girl who has a baby and is forced to give the baby up for adoption. Once an adult, she begins to search for her child. This book was well-written, had lots of twists and turns and kept my attention. Excellent Read! Jennifer

Amazing Book

This author writes so real...it's like you are experiencing the story first hand. She has rapidly become one of my favorite authors. I want more books by her as soon as possible.

Great Book!

First novel I've attempted in a long time because I lose interest easily, but I was pleasantly surprised! I enjoyed the bird's eye perspective...that omniscient viewpoint the writer used in her work. Looking forward to reading her other books!

Captivating

This book was very captivating for me and I found it hard to stop listening. The narrating was beautifully done and the story itself was beautifully done.

One for the books!

This definitely is one of my favorite books! Linda Nichols has captured the undying love of a mother and has written an account of it for all of us to enjoy!

Excellent Inspirational Book!

This is a great book!...engrossing and inspiring with a very satisfying ending. As the story works it's way through the lives and perspectives of each character, I couldn't help comparing some of them to people I know and it actually gave me a greater ability to assume that the motivations of others are good, at least as good as they can be considering unknown circumstances.

The book is very realistic as I have personally experienced similar miraculous circumstances that God has brought about to bring people together.

geared toward teenagers

This story was very juvenile. I felt it was like something that you might be required to read in high school. It's rather poorly written, meaning the author is just not a very skilled writer and the sentence structures and dialog between characters is very simple. I was able to finish the book, but it was a chore. This story could have been told in half the time. There is a good deal of quotes from the bible and prayer and the romance between the main characters only reached chaste kissing after about 20 dates. Very naive story and the narration was quite bad. I could hear her taking deep breaths at the end of sentences and swallowing, which bothered me a great deal.

pass

I must have missed the 'religious' denotation about this book in the review. I've listened to other authors that used religion as a basis for their work, such as Jan Karon. In the Karon novels, you feel the love and the neighborly support, but I didn't get this one. I've never written a negative review before and I'm sorry to have paid for this book, which I didn't finish. If you want a book to tell you GOD is the reason why, this is it.
