Another most worthy offering

Would you consider the audio edition of HorrorBabble's Classic Horror: Volume 2 to be better than the print version?

Being that I first became acquainted to these readers through their works, I would say a bias is in place.

What was one of the most memorable moments of HorrorBabble's Classic Horror: Volume 2?

The Rats In The Walls features some very fine showmanship from Mr. Gordon.

What does Ian Gordon and Jennifer Gill bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Per usual, neither fails to bring life to their readings. This holds true with the near-ending to The Rats in the Walls.

Who was the most memorable character of HorrorBabble's Classic Horror: Volume 2 and why?

Churlish though it will sound, I never fail to laugh at the absurdity of what Mr. De La Poer named his cat, and I never fail to salute Mr. Gordon's faith to the written story.

Any additional comments?

The only fault I can find in this and their other compilation is the lack of story titles in the chapter listing.

Excellent, looking forward to more!

Loved every moment! The Ensouled Violin I particularly enjoyed, the ending had me completely engrossed.

Great choices of story and great performances, my only comment is that, since you have access to both a male and female voice, use them for when male or female characters are speaking. Particularly in An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge (Which was great otherwise, another of my favorites from this), Jennifer's male voice was a little jarring.

Other than that small detail, loved all of it and am looking forward to the next one :)

Ian Gordon is great, but the othet narrator is awful

Jennifer Gill reads those horror stories like they were excerpt from a college course book. It’s complete mismatch of narrator for the style, and the awkward pauses in random places make the story harder to follow. Will avoid her work in the future.

Ian Godon is great though, very captivating narration. He saves this audiobook.

Babble on Master Weavers of Madness!!

I will never understand how people get lost in the fact that people spoke differently when these tales were written ...when I started listening to Horrorbabble....Thanks to METALLICA....The Call of KTHULHU...it took me a bit to get accustomed to it...Now if I close my eyes it's amazing how much more profound horror is....not just jumpscares and blood and guts...

Thank you Ian and Jennifer

Fabulous, as always.

what’s not to love about classic works of horror?? (trick question! the answer is “nothing”.)
Poe, Bierce, Hawthorne, and my main man, Lovecraft. 🙌🏻

Ian Gordon & Jennifer Gill always produce great quality readings, and this collection is no exception.
Ian Gordon has the perfect ‘stormy night’ voice, as I like to think of it: just wonderful for any horror reading.
Jennifer Gill has the most lovely, clear voice. pitch perfect.
they are both truly talented and give new life to classic stories, some of which I’ve never read/heard.
great collection, great pair, happy listener!

*I received an audible credit to leave an honest review for this collection, and I was pleased as punch to do so.
