Sad reminder

I feel Radclyffe handled this story line with care. It brought back difficult emotions, but it was a well done in my opinion. Abby Craden was wonderful as always. The story keeps you riveted and I can’t wait to listen to the next one.

Love the series

It was heartbreaking listening to the 9/11 part. I don’t think any of us will ever get over it!! My heart he’s out to all the families who lost someone that day and the people who lost their life! Abby Arden was the perfect narrator for this book. Hands down my favorite narrator!!! And Radclyffe for keeping this series going!!

More of Honor

This great author continues to blend suspense and romance in wonderful ways. The characters are lifelike and believable in their hopes and fears. Abby's naration is the saucy spice bringing the characters to life!

I wanted to like

Can Radclyffe not remember the character's names? I am so sick of hearing "her lover" or "my lover," over and over rather the names. Names are a good thing for a reason and that is so it is not like reading some trashy soft core porn. I wanted to like this story. I've listened to 1-4 hoping the characters would get some substance but that has yet to happen. Cam is almost as much of a whiner as Blair but Blair isn't supposed to a strong butch. I prefer the secondary characters as they are not as annoying as Cam and Blair.

I am still trying to figure out how Cam and Blair fell in love. When they met, Cam was using an escort and Blair had indiscriminate sex at the drop of a hat. Both knew yet that wasn't enough to make either of them think perhaps neither would be a great catch. By book 4 they still to me have no reason to be so head over heels. They have spent minimal time together. It's just not realistic that they would fall in love.

There is a lot of sex. If I cared nothing about a story then this book would be ideal. I do care though about the story. This one was disappointing.

What a rush!

This is the most exciting book I’ve ever read! The story is amazing! We already know Cam and Blair but this book goes beyond the romance. From the beginning you know something major will happen and you just wait to know what it is. Radclyffe is amazing. And as always Abby Craden narration lets us immerse ourselves into the story.
This is my favorite book in the series!

9/11- Characters-Secret Service But.......

The 9/11 storyline was handled well......brought back a lot of that day.
However, I can almost guarantee that those that were fortunate enough to have their loved ones be reunited with them, did not have sex immediately.
What's with all of the sex? Can these characters spend any time together except in bed? Do they ever do other things? Watch a movie? Sightsee?
Also, I have never heard anyone introduce their girlfriend/partner/wife as their "lover" What is that about? That's a bit personal isn't it? It's almost funny in parts, you can run a tally on "is she going to introduce her as lover, this time? Yes! Check mark."
I did like the relationship of Paula and Renee. I'm assuming that's an age gap romance. However as they went on Renee sounded like she was talking to a child and Paula spoke as a child. I don't know....their dialogue just sounded icky.
Maybe I need a break from this series. I have binged it up until this book.
It's a lot of characters that if the reader, could have focused on just a few of the storylines, instead on all of the multitudes going on here, I think it would have been crisp , precise and easier to follow.
