Publisher's summary

In the second book of Nora Roberts’s Dream Trilogy, the ever practical Kate Powell finds her career sidetracked by a scandal - one that will teach her the value of family, friendship, and love...

Surrounded by the sweeping cliffs and beauty of Big Sur, Kate Powell treasured both her life at Templeton House and the family who raised her like one of their own. Although Kate lacked Margo’s beauty and Laura’s elegance, she knew she had something they would never possess - a shrewd head for business.

Driven by ambition, Kate measured her life’s success with each soaring promotion. But now faced with professional impropriety, Kate is forced to look deep within herself - only to find something missing in her life...and in her heart.

Another great book

Notes Roberts' books are amazing! Laura, Margo, and Kate make a great story line.

Dream Trilogy

Listened to many of the amazing Nora Roberts Trilogies. This ‘Dream Trilogy’ may be my most favorite. Have one more book to go. Late comer to her brilliance as a writer. Wondering if there are any other writers to compare… Where do we go from here?
Thank you, Nora!! Thank you!!!!

Bad Narrator, Great Author

This narrator makes the female cast sound elderly. The men sound ridiculous. This is the second of the series and Margot's character sounded like she was on the verge of a yawn the whole performance. Kate sounded like Margot from book 1. I don't think I'll be able to stomach audio book 3. I'll just read that one outright.

Interrupted

I did not like the music playing before the reading was done. It ruined the mood.

Good Series

Nice example of Nora's earlier work. I like the diversity of the characters and the storyline is humorous and believable. Worth the listen.

Great story

The narrator did the story great justice in her understanding of the characters roles and what the author wanted the reader to get from it truly wonderful
