A promising opening title to a new series

An interesting depiction of a dark new world where twisted and perverted demons live among us in secret!
This first story defines these alien and devious antagonists that hide amidst humans with grotesque yet intriguing and strange imagery, creating an eerie feeling that, if such creatures really did live among us, our world would definitely be doomed!
The tone of the narrator, whose voice coincidently sounds a bit like Mr. Greenwood's, contributes to giving a surrealistic and slightly humorous mood to this dark tale.
On the negative side, I did find it a bit difficult to relate to any of the characters in the story, and it seemed to me that some of the more sexually explicit content somehow lacked real purpose at times, hence the three stars for the story, but these are minor gripes.
Overall, a very promising start for this new series.
I'm already downloading the next two volumes!
Also, the cover art rocks!

gratuitous sex instead of a storyline.

I for one love gratuitous sex, the rauchier the better! this book however, even the sex couldn't help! I kept waiting for the story to show up, but all I got was a random collection or violent scenes strung together with violent sex. At the end of the book all I couldremember were a disjointed collection of violent sex and it wasn't even good sex at that. save your money I wish I did!
