Publisher's summary

Early spring 1829 was a cold, starving time for most people in the Rocky Mountains. For Zach Connors and his family, it was the same. Known throughout the mountains as "Grizzly Killer", Zach fights the worst Mother Nature has to offer to find food, but then he must fight Cheyenne warriors to bring the treasured buffalo meat back home, only to find others have kidnapped his wife and her sister.

Benny Lambert has only been in the Rockies a little over a year when others shoot his partner and steal all their furs. Benny is driven to find the renegades and make them pay for what they have done, but marauding Blackfeet get in his way.

Hell Hath No Fury brings to life the story of both men and their women fighting the elements and their enemies and coming together to bring justice to the killers, thieves, and hostile Indians who would do them harm.

Great Read!!

This was a good book that involved good detail. A little gory but understandable for the time period. I can't run wait to read the next.

Wow! This series is dynamite!

Each and every one of these books are so exciting. The storyline and characterisation is outstanding. I really dislike short serialized books and these are 400+ pages.

Castration and Polygamy

This is the 3rd book in the series I have listened to. Not as good as the first. Since the author promotes having multiple wives and public nudity in his books, I long suspected he was Mormon. The conclusion of this book says he lives in Utah. Either the author is a Mormon, or is big on the male fantasy of multiple wives. FYI, in real life, it is hard enough for a man to keep one woman happy, multiple wives just make for jealousy and discord.

Lots of detail about Indians castrating, scalping, and torturing their enemies. Yuck. Prefer the information about hunting, trapping, preparing hides. Healing arts info good too.
I question whether a 200 pound war dog that has killed many men is safe around civilians. Makes for a nice story, but do not think it is realistic.
I prefer information and stories about simple living, mostly outdoors, by decent people. Family life and nursing babies nice. This book had maybe 20 to 40 percent of that.

Will try next in series, if it is this quality, will return it; hope it is of the quality of the first one.
