Just phenomenal all around

This was a fantastic listen and a book that stands head and shoulders above most of the Zombie fiction out there, while managing to remain true to its roots.

The author crafts a tale where the characters are not only likable and believable, but behave 'realistically' and in an intelligent manner- Allowing the reader/listener to really connect with them and care about their plight.

The 'world' we find out characters in is a fairly typical post apocalyptic landscape shortly after the zombie event essentially wipes out civilization. Its what you would expect of this world- But the characters who populate it really bring everything to life.

This book is clever, sometimes a bit scary and just phenomenal all around. As a massive fan of this genre I am always thrilled to find a book that stands out from the pack and this one certainly does that.
