The Narrators Juicy Mouth Ruined the Experience

Although the story is good all the swallowing, lip popping, and other awkward noises from the narrator during the reading ruined the listening experience completely! She was great in Book 2, and her voice inflections among characters were wonderful, but that ‘juicy mouth’ yielded a very unprofessional recording. I’d absolutely recommend the book series for reading, but would greatly discourage listening...

Great book

The constant mention of Mr Boatright on the third book is getting to be too much. Overall however the book was great just like the first two I read.

Excessive swallowing and mouth noises

I typically love Mary Monroe’s books. But this one was extra aggravating. The main character was extra naive to the point of stupidity.

The excessive mouth noises were very bothersome. They recording was very tacky and unprofessional. If you can get past the mouth noises it’s an ok “read”.

Any additional comments?

The Narrator moves saliva around in her mouth a lot and it is find of distracting it would be great if someone would have edited it out

Mouth Noises

Story was too long b/c every 2-3 chapters seemed like Boatright was getting mentioned, it was annoying., I thought this the first time I read it. The Narrator was terrible, pause after pause, sucking, swallowing noises and smacking it was awful. I’m a Mary Monroe fan and this is my 2nd time, I read the books years ago, thought I’d enjoy the audio version. The 1st narrator was great, even this one was good the 2nd book, if I could her 0 stars would.

Nowhere near as good as the 1st two books in the series

I have always felt so bad for Annette and what she went thru but this book made her look sad, pitiful and weak. I figured out it was Jade in the 1st part of the book. Annette did the absolute most without doing ANYTHING. And to waste all that time heading to Miami only to turn right back around to go home. Stop running like a coward and handle your business, ughhhh

Great story, bad audio editing

Amazing book as always! But the editing of the audio was horrible. Awkward pauses, you could hear the performer swallowing (not a poor reflection of the reader, she was amazing) and some of the transitions were off.

A deep story

This is my third book in the God series and it never disappoints. I would have to say it has a few long pauses and the chapters start in the middle of what the audio chapters state.
