Publisher's summary

Danyelle Roy is a private investigator feeling the pinch of the economy. When she begs her friend Murphy, a bail bondsman, to give her some work, he does so reluctantly.

Jeffrey Wiles isn't the kind of criminal you want to send a cute redhead after. He slaughtered a 13-year-old girl while her parents slept and then used her blood to paint Satanic graffiti on the walls.

Duncan MacDougal is a specialist in paranormal investigations and he's never seen anything like the Satanic spellcasting done by Jeffrey Wiles. When Duncan and Dani team up to capture Wiles, the magic is overpowering.

A Paranormal Private Investigator Story

I really liked this private investigator tracks down a murderer story with a twist. It's got ghosts and a psycho killer with demon issues and a sexual attraction (no silly, not with the psycho) sub-plot that Pietsch manages to keep simmering through all the murder and dark magic that fills up the story. What's more, the characters (the heroes at least) are actually interesting and likable.
I opted for the Audible version which is very well read by Hollie Jackson who has an engaging reading style and manages to lend the story both the sexual and the narrative tension it requires without tipping it over into melodrama.
A short read at slightly over two hours, this one's well worth your time.

Entertaining Paranormal Romance

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes! I was pulled into the story from the very beginning. Duncan and Dani are perfect for each other and the paranormal element adds an interesting twist.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Frozen Hell?

When the bridge collapsed. Unexpected and suspenseful.

What does Hollie Jackson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She does a good job, but I wish she could have made Duncan sound more like James Bond. :)

If you could take any character from Frozen Hell out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Duncan. I would want to hear more about his paranormal cases.

Any additional comments?

It was a great story, I just wish it was longer. I hope there is a sequel.
