Publisher's summary

After the explosion, Will didn't expect to wake up again, especially in the past. Alive is good. Except he finds himself at the Alamo in 1836 in the body of another man doomed to die. If history repeats itself, Santa Anna is coming soon, and the Alamo will fall, along with himself and 189 others.

In a race against time itself, Will uses his knowledge of the future to change the past. He will use every means necessary, even if it means abandoning the fort. He is determined to forget the Alamo!

Performance hurting a bit

I enjoyed the story concept and line. However the performance, for me, was ruined by Mr. Snow’s evident unfamiliarity with how to pronounce certain words.
For example, the word Bexar, is NOT pronounced with an X sound, but rather an H sound, Behar; or even Bear would have been acceptable. He also missed on the town of Refugio, and other terms.
Perhaps he should also GTT to research Texas a bit more.

Review of Forget the Alamo!:. Lone Star Reloaded S

Very interesting Science Fiction/Fantasy/Time Travel/Alternate History story. Terrific cast of historical characters well-portrayed by narrator. Good story-line.

Great story… needs Texan narrator?

The story is, as far as alternative history goes, is well constructed, well-thought out, and excellently written.
The narrator, however, struggles with character differentiation, giving all the characters the same generic southern accent. The poor Mexican, Scottish, and Irish characters’ voices are… less than stellar.
Also struggles with the names of Texan cities and locations (Go-LIE-ad instead of GO-Lee-ad, for instance).

its pretty good

Only problem I have is the story is too short, The character essentially quantum leaps into a historical character makes big changes to Texas. The characters are interesting and you care about them but the way its prepared it looks like it will turn all into a coma dream which I hope isn't true. Since, that would make trhe story pointless. Its a good start to a series and hopefully will lead to more interesting stuff.
