Publisher's summary

A dark power is at work, intent on gaining complete control of the CradleLand, the birthplace of the still-young world. All that stands in the Power's way is one troublesome line of humans: descendants of Seth. They are of the only remaining clan clinging to an all-but-dead faith. And yet it's from that faith that a prophecy threatens all plans of world dominion: A promise, spoken from the heart of Eden, warning of a human son yet to come - a man who would strike back with a crushing blow.

The darkness is determined to stop that from happening. This redeemer must be born a human, so an incredible scheme is launched to prevent the prophecy from coming to pass. First, pollute the human bloodline; and second...kill the only one who could be humanity's deliverance.

This is the first audiobook in the Cradleland Series.

Good story. Narration lacked fluidity.

The story added normalcy and interesting imagery to a biblical time shrouded in mystery. I warmed up to the characters after the first few chapters. Worth reading.

Narration

Great story, terrible narration. Seriously, buy the book. If I was the author I would be very displeased with the performance.

Wow, this was unexpected.

I ran across this story by accident, but I really, really enjoyed this story. I can't wait until my boys are bigger so I can read it to them. It took while to get used to the narrator - too many pregnant pauses. But I still had a good time listening to this.

Superb Story

This is a biblically accurate novel set in fiction. I didn't want this Trilogy to end.

The Story is Worth Enduring the Horrible Narration

Any additional comments?

I almost didn't purchase this book because of the poor reviews on the narration, but I noticed that there was a different narrator for the other books in the series and I thought the content looked interesting. I am glad I did purchase it.The narration was truly horrible, easily the worse that I've heard on Audible, but by the end of the first half of the download I had grown somewhat numb to it. The story itself was really good. I liked the way the author set real, believable characters in a plausible representation of the pre-flood world. I found the read thought provoking and enjoyable. I guess you could buy the book and bypass the narration, but either way, it was worth the purchase price.

Any additional comments?

It's a good story even if your not a believer in God. If you can't get past it being that it is fiction I feel sorry for your Library. It's gonna miss out on some good and entertning story's

Don’t listen to the bad Reviews

Don’t listen to the bad reviews about the narrator. Most people don’t understand they can speed up the narration in settings. Put the speed at 1.2 and it will be great. Awesome story, Awesome narration
