I must say that this book was exceptional.
i was looking for atleast one flaw so that I can say not listening to this book earlier was no harm just to do myself justice but to my surprise I damned myself for the late listen. :(
to you E L James you have made my day a lot on several occasions, the way the book was written was exquisite and I am not just saying this for word sake but you did all your fans justice. the stages that the book gradually increased, the way that the characters were developed, their personalities that meshed so wonderfully I must say that you took time out to write this book in which I do appreciate, you can know when someone take the time out to do something I could feel that in every words of this book when Anastasia Steele went to interview Christian Grey and bare in mind that the interview was for her friend so for the book to turn out this way it took one heck of an U turn in which did got me obsessed possessed and will keep this book 4ever

Now Becca Battoe are you only human????? because I did not know that such talent exist in one person and I really do hope that when I listen to more books with you I will not have to take this back (I really hope that you will keep my 5 star ratings).. what I would really like to know is how did you know that this book was just so perfect for that well trained, refreshing breathtakingly beautiful, elegant, divine, precious, tantalizing and sweet voice. you played all these characters as they were ought to be played I really n truly enjoyed your narration, perfect book perfect voice can it get any better??? the way you portrayed the male voices was beautiful. I know that you did your best because listening to the book really takes my breath away I was awwed and I know that I was not the only person. You are one hell of a narrator you took this book and made it your own in which that's what made this book sooooooooo special.
I wonder did E L James wrote this book and handed it to you herself or were you stunned by the book and wanted to read this for the world at hand. THANK YOU ALSO for making this book into an unforeseen movie you did us listener justice.

Surprisingly good

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

i got this book mainly because i just wanted to see what all the hype was, at first i wouldn't have recommended it to anyone, it was a slow start and the narrator was painful to listen to, but i guess they wanted a 20 something sound to it and they got that! but by the half way mark it had grown on me, and i really couldn't stop listening to it, so yes i would recommend it, but LISTEN TO IT IN 2X SPEED!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Fifty Shades of Grey?

i'd say that the sex scenes would be the more memorable out of the story, after all they are quite graphic, god forgive if a kid waled by the book shop and decided to flick through out of curiosity.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

it could have been read a little better, i had to go to 2x speed on my iPhone which surprisingly made the book more enjoyable, that way it didn't sound like it went forever!

Who was the most memorable character of Fifty Shades of Grey and why?

i'd have to say Mr. Grey, such a mystery

Wonderful Book!

The story was great! Only after watching the movie I know there's a book like this that exist. Book has so much more details than the movie. When you listen to this after watching the movie, you tend to imagine like the movie but just much more in detail. Becca Battoe narrated it perfectly, her voice is so similar as the movie! And I love her voice & expressions!!! Loved the author E.L. James too for writing such steamy details of this series of book!

Just a string of cliches, shallow characters, no plot worth mentioning. One reads on to catch the raunchy although implausible sex scenes.

No, nice voice but her reading gives the wrong emphasis on words. She acts out too much and her portrayal of male voices is embarrassing.

Not for TV. Sex is the only interesting part and that couldn't be done on TV.

Fast paced ..such a good read

I loved this book. I couldnt put it down and now I have listened to them all. I am far from a teenager and I am a corporate manager. Quite a few of my friends are also very taken with the story. To the haters...lighten up. I guess you need to find some way to vent your sad frustrations by giving this best seller such scathing reviews. Many millions of women all over the world...not just teenagers are in love with the idea that is Christian Grey. We cannot all be illiterate, pubescent idiots!! In fact I dont think this book is suitable for teenagers at all!! We all have different tastes. Please recognize this. Fantastic book.

Brilliantly read. Well written. Story totally different than what I thought it would be. Deep phycological and erotic. Will recommend it to any mature person.
