Publisher's summary

From New York Times best-selling author Mary Monroe comes a seductive, shocking tale of two unhappy women fulfilling their every erotic dream - and finding a desire that kills.

He's successful, kind, and sensitive - the type of man every woman wants. And truck driver Calvin Ramsey just loves women - especially the lonely, unappreciated ones he meets online, like Lola Poole. His deceitful ex-wife taught him that women really appreciate someone who cares about their deepest feelings and problems.

Since Lola always gives more than she gets, Calvin longs to show her the best of everything. And when he gives her the ultimate parting gift, just like he did his wife and all the others, he'll love Lola best of all.

Lola Poole is so done putting her life on hold for her selfish relatives' needs. Now, thanks to online dating and a sizzling parade of hungry lovers, she and her unhappily married best friend, Joan, are getting all the sexy fun they missed out on. Even better, handsome, dependable Calvin looks like he might be the whole irresistible potential-husband package. Until oh-so-right starts going all-the-way wrong. And Lola must uncover the truth and take control before this fatal fantasy finishes her.

Disappointed

I'm a long time Monroe fan so I usually just buy her books without doing much research. After the book ended I was confused so I went and read the description and then wondered if my download didn't include the entire book. After reading other reviews I see that I'm not alone and this isn't one of her best.

Loved the story hated the ending!

I love the story like I've loved all of her stories, the narrator's were awesome and the story was amazing but I did not like the ending. I wanted to know what happened with Lola and Calvin once they finally met. Is there going to be a part 2? I really want to know the outcome of their meeting and find out what ever happened between Joan and her husband.

End

The ending. That’s about all I can say. It was just....umm. Hmmmm! Mouth dropping maybe. Period.

Disappointed

The story developed very slowly and as soon as the plot became interesting the story ends on a cliff hanger. Extreme waist of time. You can skip this book and go right to the next book in the series.

What happened to the ending?

I certainly enjoyed this book. I enjoy all Mary Monroe books. However, what happened to the ending? Did I miss something? Is this a series? Help me to understand. There has to be more. What is the outcome between Lola and Calvin?

Just an opinion

Great book... didn’t like the end, to abrupt! I felt like the characters ending could have been explained more.

The book is just ok. i struggled through it.

It was better once Calvin came along. I may purchase next book, because of Calvins craziness!!

A bit fantasy, a bit real = Great read!

I am a fan of Mary Monroe. She is a great writer, one who can really write dialogue well. She didn't miss a beat. I think she did a terrific job balancing between the fantasy world and the realistic world can be women are seeking love and companionship. A great read!

I love me some Mary Monroe ! She never disappoints

First off Joan and Lola are HEADACHES and seem to dig themselves deeper and deeper into their own graves. When they manage to finally crawl out of them they start digging another. I am just baffled at these two. They whine about everything that’s going wrong in their lives but do nothing to change it! Like come on ladies WAKE UP!! Now Lola is about to put herself in extreme danger. I now have to read the next book to see what trouble those two get themselves into
