Publisher's summary

Ten years ago, devastated by an ugly scandal, Brooke Martin fled the small town of Hayden to pursue a career as a stained-glass artist. Now Brooke has returned on business to discover that some things never change. Her spotted reputation remains. Tongues still wag. And that makes what should be her dream assignment tough.

Brooke has been hired to design new stained-glass windows at Hayden Bible Church. The job is a career windfall. But Nick Marcello is overseeing the project, and some in the church think Nick and Brooke’s relationship is not entirely professional - and as before, there is no convincing those people otherwise.

In the face of mounting rumors, the two set out to produce the masterpiece Nick has conceived: a brilliant set of windows displaying God’s covenants in the Bible. For Brooke, it is more than a project - it is a journey toward faith. But opposition is heating up. A vicious battle of words and will is about to tax Brooke’s commitment to the limit. Only this time, she is determined not to run.

Good read!

If you could sum up Emerald Windows in three words, what would they be?

Good Christian Story!

Who was your favorite character and why?

I've forgotten her name, but the star of the book was the narrator--the girl. I like her because she's transparent and overcame so much unjust criticism.

What does Rebecca Rogers bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Different voices and animation.

If you could take any character from Emerald Windows out to dinner, who would it be and why?

The teacher who married the student. He was an exemplary Christian!

Any additional comments?

I've really enjoyed Audible. I'm really busy and on the go and I can take my IPOD with me and listen to the stories wherever I am!! I've had some trouble with the downloads. Two times I've had to have a technician "take control of my computer" and reinstall Audible's download driver, but apart from that I've enjoyed this new experience of audible books!!

Love the story

Terri never fails to deliver. The narration on this one is distracting because she clips her words pretty severely but if you increase the speed of the audio it helps significantly

Welcome variation in plot

The great story line is enhanced by insight into artistic talents, and how they may be viewed by families and others. It was helpful to me since I have 3 grown children who are all artists.

Challenging

What an awesome book Terri, and talk about God's timing for me listening to this book, my own pastor of 25 years has graduated to heaven just over two weeks ago. I praise God for the solid base He gave me thru this church, and I know He will bind us together with His Love and show us the way forward. The story was beautiful, and Rebecca narrated beautifully too. Quite a challenge of being unequally yoked! I learned that the hard, hard way, and by His Grace I will not go there again! Thank you for the story, did you ever think your ministry was evangelism? I pray that thousands of people will make the decision for Christ thru your books! God bless you

Emerald W

Dear Ms- Blackstock,
What hours. Of joy you have given me with your books! When I first began reading them, they filled lonely evenings when my husband traveled with his job. N what joy I have found in reading books with a good story, but especially with Christian values and pointing the way to our Lord and God. Emerald Windows especially did this.
Now that reading is difficult for me because of Demi I shed vision, I am appreciative of Audible books. Rebekah Rogers did a wonderful reading. Thank you for the fine work you do in writing these books. You bring me joy!

Sincerely,
Lois G. Marshall
