Publisher's Summary

What should a wife believe: the words of her husband, or the diary of his mistress?

Monica counts her blessings: she has a husband who is not only devoted to her but committed to being a strong, caring father to their twin sons. When Carlos surprises her with an unforgettably romantic getaway, Monica knows her husband is still very much in love with her—and she with him. But an unexpected package threatens to change everything Monica’s ever believed about her husband.

Bitter from her experiences with a cheating husband, Angela has adopted a sex-them-and-leave-them attitude towards the married men she’s bedded over the last five years. Then she meets Carlos. Now, she will stop at nothing to get him for herself—even if that means destroying her own life and another woman’s family.

Really Good!

I think this book was really great. It has been a while since I have been this excited about a book. Even longer for an audiobook. A must hear. I do agree about the speaker;she could have had more emotion during the angry times. Oh well, it doesn't take away from the plot.

A little predictable.

But a good distraction if you need it. Not the best writing but these kinds of books never are.

Loved This Book!!!

My husband and I were on a road trip and took this book along for the ride and listened via iPod. This book was quite entertaining and kept us alert the entire time. We literally hated to get out of the car for rest stops because the book held our attention. What we enjoyed about the book is the fact that there is a life lesson that can be learned from it. The story is well written, has an interesting turn of events, and is quite believable. It is a good example of what a jealous heart can produce in individuals if given an opportunity to exploit someone.

The reader is excellent and makes you feel as if she is talking directly to you so we really felt as if we were in the front row seat at a movie theater without the screen. If a book can pull you in like that, it is a result of excellent writing.

Great job Miasha!

Narrator is HORRIBLE

I could have enjoyed the story but had to stop listening because the voices used by the narrator were terribly annoying! Her character voices made me cringe and just ruined the whole book. Money wasted and lesson learned, always listen to a sample before purchasing! Definitely will never buy another audible narrated by Claudia Alick!

Great story by the author, narrator not so much

I wasn't expecting the story to turn out the way it did after reading the title. I enjoyed the storyline and its multiple twists. The narrator was okay but the voice tone used for male characters was horrible. Some portions of her voice were dry, especially when she read the lyrics to Beyonce's Crazy in Love. It could have been recited a little upbeat rather than sound like a half dead robot.
