Dear Emma

Heartwarming story of love and faith. Highly recommend.

Steve A. Gannett is perfect as the narrator of this lovely story. His reading is heartfelt and his voice as the Chaplain is warm and soothing.

Loved it! Loved it! Loved it!

I almost didn't complete this listen. It had a slow start and with so many other books to listen to, I put this listen aside several times. Man, am I glad I finally picked it up!

This listen is just over two hours but sooooo worth it.

The story was mesmerizing. I had no idea where it was going but I was just as engrossed in the storytelling as the chaplain became.

I loved how it ended. I mean, I absolutely loved how it ended. Whatever you feel about God, religion, or the afterlife, this listen was a warm fuzzy.

I walked away thinking the same way the chaplain did - I am very glad to have experienced this story.

A very special book.

The storyline was most absorbing. The narrator had a wonderful ability to make you really believe all would be ok.

XOXO

Great story with a twist at the end.

Steven A. Gannett, narrator, did a great job with his characters.

Heart-warming story!

Where does "Dear Emma" rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Close to the top.

Any additional comments?

This being a new author for me, I wasn't sure if I would like the writing or not. Dear Emma brought tears to my eyes more than once. I would recommend anyone to listen to this book. As I listen to audio books I like an author to bring me right into the life of the characters and this one did just that. I couldn't wait to see who was writing the notes. Where did they come from. Would I select another book written by this author, yes. Would I listen to other books narrated by Mr. Gannett, yes.

Wow, emotional and touching but very good

This was one of the most heartwarming and touching books I've listened to. I got drawn into it right away and couldn't wait to hear how it ended. It wasn't at all predictable and it brought tears to my eyes more than once. I absolutely love this book, am thankful for the opportunity to have listened to it and highly recommend it. Dear Emma

This is one of those stories that sticks with you long after you’ve finished it. Very thought provoking and emotional. Both the author and narrator did a fantastic job.

Everlasting Love, from Where Does It Come?

As a hospital chaplain, Chaplain Roger is used to dealing with people at the worst times of their lives. So a stop by the maternity ward is usually a happy change. However, on this evening he is facing a dire situation. A mother and her child may both be lost during delivery.

As he strikes up a conversation with the mother's father and he secures his trust, Chaplain Roger hears about an unbelievable, and irrational set of events from Ben (the father of the woman who may die delivering a grandchild he may never meet.) What could be the explanation? Is there an explanation?

The narrator is a good match for DEAR EMMA. Steven A Gannett has a very strong and soothing voice. This book was limited to male characters, for the most part.

*I was given a copy of this book in exchange for my unbiased review. I really enjoyed this heart-wrenching tale and I think that MOST listeners who enjoy faith-based books will like this book.
