Part 2

It was not as good as the first part, but it's the middle so it has a lot of substance. It keeps the story going and I can't wait for the last part!
I'm not sure why it's not available on audible??? It is available when I search but when I sign in it's not. Kinda disappointing Audible!
Anyway, hopefully it will be shortly!

Daughters of Castle Deverill part 2

Where does Daughters of Castle Deverill rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Fabulous story with lots of twists and turns. As in Part 1 and 2 the story finished abruptly so I am hoping there will be a part 3! I would so like to see how all the characters lives pan out.

What did you like best about this story?

Never a dull moment, wanted to keep listening

Have you listened to any of Genevieve Swallow’s other performances? How does this one compare?

Genevieve Swallow read part 1 of Songs of Love and War about the O'Learys and Deverills which I enjoyed but part 2 has been even better. There are many characters in this part and Genevieve carried off the different voices well.

Any additional comments?

This audio has been one of the best books I have listened to!

Most Enjoyable

Loved it and didn't want it to finish. It could have gone on for a few more chapters to tie up the loose ends.

Enjoyable narrative and very well read

The story flowed well until the last few chapters when it came to a rather sudden end and the reader was left rather unsatisfied.

As good as book #1

Loved this second instalment about the Deverill family as much as the first one. So well narrated and memorable characters. If you like a good period drama type saga then this is for you.

Well written & read

I'm quite new to Audible. This is my 5th book and by far the best. There are lots of characters & lots of linked stories running side by side but I never got confused between them and found them all interesting. I looked forward to every commute so that I could listen to more & was disappointed to finish it. I will be reading or listening to more by this author

Loved it

What did you like most about Daughters of Castle Deverill?

I enjoyed listening to what happened to all the characters in the story and how it carried on from Songs Of Love and War.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Daughters of Castle Deverill?

There wasn't really one - I enjoyed it all!

Which scene did you most enjoy?

I think it was the part where Martha went to Ireland after learning that she had been adopted.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes ! but of course that would have been impossible

Any additional comments?

I would have liked the story to have continued - it seemed to end suddenly. I do hope that there will be a continuation of the story - we must know what happened to all the characters. The narration was excellent with so many different accents.
