Publisher's Summary

Forensic accountant Maggie Martin survives the sudden death of her husband, the charismatic President of Windsor College, only to uncover the secrets of his carefully-concealed double life. Dealing with the financial and emotional wreckage left in Paul's wake, she is stunned to learn he inherited an estate known as Rosemont in the seemingly serene Midwestern town of Westbury. Why had he never told her?

Maggie travels to Westbury for the stated purpose of listing Rosemont for immediate sale, but what she really seeks are answers to her all-consuming questions about her sham of a marriage, her sham of a life. She never anticipated the seductive charm of Rosemont. Throwing her trademark caution to the wind, and over the objections of her opinionated grown children, she pulls up stakes and moves halfway across the country, determined to make a fresh start in Westbury. Behind closed doors, however, lurks a cadre of evildoers, playing with multiple wild cards of fraud, embezzlement and arson. With a quiet, orderly - and distinctively solitary - life in mind, Maggie is instead thrown headlong into a crusade against political corruption, where defeat and retreat are not an option. Still bearing the scars of betrayal, will she find joy, romance and possibility in Westbury?

This fast-paced, smart novel has enough twists and turns to make the listener want to buckle in!

    "Great story!"

What a way to go! Very engaging story. Good pace by the performer. While at a good pace, wish the characters were more distinct. Interesting place to stop in the story.

"So happy I found this book!!!"

I cannot wait to hear the next book in the Rosemont Series...I'm hooked! A huge thank you to Author Barbara Hinske and Narrator Dina Pearlman....I am your newest and biggest fan! :-)

When I first started the book, I wondered if I was going to like it because the narrator's voice was deeper and more gruffy than I was used to...I'm not sure why I thought that would be a problem, but I just wasn't sure if her voice was going to keep me engaged. She sounded like an old lady...I thought, "Great, I got a book for Senior Citizens!??!" Yes, it is a book for Senior Citizens...and EVERYONE ELSE!! It is written by an amazing author and read by a fantastic narrator!!! Everything about this book is outstanding, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to everyone...women, men, my 25 yr old neighbor, my 33 yr old sister, my 45 yr old roommate, my mom, my dad, and 30-something year olds like myself! If I could, I would rate it higher than 5 stars...it's like 7 out of 5 stars!

This is the first book I have read/listened to from the author Barbara Hinske (as well as the first from narrator Dina Pearlman). I now want to hear them all! (I hope there are more...I'm going to immediately check after I am finished with this review). Not only do I feel like I am now friends with the people in the Rosemont community, but I want to go visit this weekend! Hehehe! The characters are well developed and the storyline kept me wanting to know what happened next. I also love dogs, so I was excited when Eve, the dog, was introduced into the story.

I'm really not sure what else to say about this book, except that I know you will love it. Don't think twice about it...just get it. It is well worth the credit...and, you might just fall in love with Rosemont and the people who live there! I know I did!

Thank you for reading my review! :-)

Would you consider the audio edition of Coming to Rosemont to be better than the print version?

I like both - I have read the book (a couple of times) and now have listened to the book - there are things I heard that i do not recall from reading the book. it is just a different way to comprehend - Still a delight-filled story that kept me entertained.

What other book might you compare Coming to Rosemont to and why?

can't really say as i like a variety of authors and stories.

Have you listened to any of Dina Pearlman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not heard any of Dina Pearlman's audible books before but will look for her name for other audible books

If you could take any character from Coming to Rosemont out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Maggie! would just like to know more about her!

    Any additional comments?

I liked the audible book because it is easy to listen to and hear the story (while working on mundane spreadsheets at work LOL). it took two days to listen to the story - i was able to still put myself in the story - same as the book - with the audible i get the emotion of other characters in the story. Can't wait for the next audible book in the series to be released.

Would love to see this series as a Hallmark Movie - how entertaining would that be!!!

    "Wonderful story!"

Coming to Rosemont is a wonderful story of a woman who is starting a new chapter of her life. As she makes her new start, she also gives new life to an amazing estate called Rosemont. The characters are well-written, and the story leaves you wanting to move to Westbury and visit with them everyday. The Rosemont series is one of my favorites, and I can't wait to see what's next from this wonderful author.
