Awesome book
This book brought back memories of my tour in Ramadi. Especially when the Arthur talked about Hurricane Point that was my home for 7 months.
The food was different because they had to bring it in containers from Camp Ramadi but hey it was a hot chow.
In the end I am glad that the corpsman decide to stay on the green side as they say when the Navy personnel serve with the Marines. Like the book says the Marines always take care of the corpsman because in return they take care of them.

My FMF Brothers
Never a day goes by without you all.. I miss all my Brothers. Serving with the USMC as their Doc, for eight years, was the greatest thing I have ever done. it has its moments...
gets a little cheesy and unrealistic at times and the readers voices are the worst I have EVER heard but this is the only corpsman focused book I have found.

Not written by a corpsman, don’t be deceived
Many inauthenticities throughout the book and is a clear attempt to try to paint what being a corpsman is like through officer’s eyes. If you’re looking for authenticity move on.
